The Loft is designed after an English pub and has a guest capacity of 80 seated and 100 standing. "I enjoyed my dining experience at the Hamilton, atmosphere was nice. I did have to send back my crab cake because it was a little dry and fried too hard for me. So I changed to the Wild Alaskan Halibut which was fantastic, I really enjoyed that entree which came with mixed vegetables and carmalized onions. I would definitely recommend this dish!!!"

"The food was very good at the Hamilton and the servers were quite friendly and helpful, but not all that efficient. There were two children in our party and for some reason, it took a very long time to get them ketchup and mustard -- a very simple thing! We ended up having to ask four servers, and I would estimate that about 20 minutes passed before the kids were all set. By then, of course, their food was cold. Maybe they were just having a bad night! Other than that, it was great."

"Everything we ordered was fantastic. The wings with mambo sauce...yum! (and I"m from Buffalo). The salmon was perfectly prepared and had a side of macaroni and cheese and a side of collard greens...all fantastic. Our waiter gave us exceptional service. When we couldn't make a decision on a beer, he brought a taste of a few to try. He understood the menu...was there when we needed him, not when we didn't. Also, it was a really nice atmosphere with people not too crowded into each other. I highly recommend this to others."

"Needed a place where we could watch the Caps game AND take the parents to a fancy dinner. The Hamilton pulled it off perfectly. 5 star service, fantastic cooking (best sushi chef in DC), affordable with a chique & fun vibe. The 'rents loved it, our group had a blast, Caps won."

"I took a friend here to celebrate her 50th birthday. The food was just so so. We had the lettuce wraps and potstickers for an appetizer and there was hardly any flavor to them. I had the chicken caesar salad for my dinner and it was drenched in dressing. She did not enjoy her meal either which made me feel really bad."

"First time eating at the Hamilton. What a great find! The appetizers were great (need to try the sliders) and the dinner was terrific. Our waiter was Tyler H and he walked us through the menu and pointed out some of the specialities. The service was outstanding. We are definitely going to return."

"The hosts accommodated our request to sit closer to the bar as we were looking for a more casual experience because we were coming from the Opening Day game. Our service was sufficient and friendly - nothing extraordinary. We thoroughly enjoyed the sushi bar (we did tapas style) and the drink menu was unique and fun!"
