I took a special out of town friend there for dinner. . . and while the views and drinks were good, the service was slow and bad all around. Our conversation kept getting interrupted. Waiter did not offer suggestions about dinner or desert or help to make the dining experience more fun. He seemed in a hurry all evening to get us out of there. Food was good, but not great for the price. Valet said I had to be out of there by 10 pm, which I felt is early for dining downtown on a Friday. I wish the location and the service matched up for a lovely night out.

We celebrated my best friends b'day by having a girls night out. This was the perfect choice. We will be going back! Starting our night out on the porch with drinks then moving inside for our restaurant reservations. PERFECT!

I was in charge or organzing a get together for good friends I have not seen in some time.( I live in the Museum District) They wanted a lovely place outside and I thought of The Grove. Although we had reservations, I was told it was a first come first serve if we wanted to sit outside. We sat outside for over 30 minutes without anyone coming out to take our order. I finally flagged down a waiter. It was again a long time before a different waiter came by to take our order. The food was so so. The atmosphere is so enjoyable I have indicated that I would receommend The Grove, but to be prepared for a long wait if you choose to sit outside.

This was absolutely the BEST BRUNCH ever! And we feel like we have tried them all. We had Easter brunch here and the food was incredible. There was a huge variety, it was so fresh and so flavorful. The line moved along well, and the staff could not have been more accommodating. Every need was met with grace and immediacy. Loved it all!!

We attended Easter Brunch. The setting is beautiful and it was lovely to sit outside. The brunch itself was very disappointing and very overpriced. For the price, I expected something extraordinary but the food was plain (bagels, dry banana bread, unpeeled fruit) and overcooked and dried out (couldn't even eat the scrambled eggs and the frittata was rubbery). The coffee was not included in the price and there was NO dessert!! I would recommend it only because of the location and atmosphere.

Love the location and the restaurant itself, but the food is just not that great. I've been several times, but am disappointed each time. The crab dish with corn had a strange taste and the lime pie was simply ok. I will go again in hopes that the food gets better. Our waiter was not attentive and got our order wrong and the dessert. We had to flag him down a couple of times.
