The Grill Room - HauppaugeExcellent RestaurantThe food here is impeccable. Despite being a bit hard to find, only because a restaurant of this quality seems out of place in the strip mall it is in. They do an excellent job with the space though, and walking inside is like being transported into an intimate, high-end dining environment. We started off sharing the mandarin salad made with field greens and mandarin vinaigrette, very enjoyable.My husband had the seafood paella and I had the rigatoni with shrimp. The seafood was fresh and delicious, both beautifully prepared and very hot from the stove.The espresso and cappuccino finished off our dinner nicely. The jazz band in the background was enjoyable although we would have liked it turned down a notch to allow for easier conversation. All in all, a very pleasant dining experience.
