"We loved this place. Wonderful bartender and attentive waitstaff. Absolutely the best crab cake and gumbo in town in a beautiful setting. Too many small touches to mention. Just an all in all memorable experience."

"Lunch menu outstanding. Need to request a reduced portion size on salads unless you are really hungry! Service very slow, but good when they came. Crab cake appetizer was one of the best I have ever eaten! Gumbo soup was outstanding. Beautiful location."

"close to a 5 star. everything was very good, especially for a hotel restaurant. nice jazz scene (not too loud) starts at 9pm certain nights. traditional, but very nice, decor. I doubt you will be disappointed."

"Foie Gras ice cream? Seriously? This was the BEST dish I had in New Orleans! Seared Hudson Valley foie gras paired with foie gras ice cream over granny smith apple, granola, and apple cider gastrique. Amazing, creative, and fun. While waiting for dinner, the live jazz in the Cocktail lounge relaxed anyone listening...or was that the cocktail? Best I've had in awhile was the "Gable meets GaGa"...Old Tom Gin,Hibicus Syrup,Green Tea, Lemon and Egg White. Delicious, smooth, creative! I would highly recommend this place!"

"We live in California and were in New Orleans to visit our daughter, who came with my wife and me to this restaurant. We enjoyed the jazz trio and the food, service and wine in an historic hotel we intend to revisit next time."

"One of the best wine and food pairing menus we've ever experienced! Pricey but definitely worthwhile. Appreciated that the service staff made such an effort to make my children comfortable throughout a long, fancy dinner as well. Will definitely treasure the memory of this dinner!"

"I would not recommend anyone to go here who is looking for a fine dining experience. This is not my first time dining here so I don't know if there has been a change in management but the food and service was very poor. First of all we were there to celebrate my Birthday and there was a very nice card on the table when we arrived wishing me a Happy Birthday and they did bring out chocolate covered strawberries at the end. However, they allowed a man to take three cell phone calls in the dining room. He was extremely loud and disruptive. I mentioned this to the manager but the man was never spoken to. My entree of the grouper was extremely fishy and overcooked. No one came over during our meal to even see if we liked our food."
