"I liked the fact that we were able to sit near the music but felt the tables need to be bigger or the dishes smaller. We were originally 7 people and even 3 appetizers were too big for the 2 or 3 little tables we were sitting at. Since the place is being closed down for renovations this was the biggest thing that actually hit me that could use improving. We did not sit in the actually dining area but was pleased to see that if we did we could still enjoy the music which is the main reason we go there. Love the choice of entertainment and the fact that it's local live musicians make it even better. The food itself was very good. Great burgers, good pasta."

"I Reserved a table for 6 at 9:30 on a Friday.
The food was great, although it took quite awhile to reach us. The server was obviously tired and didn't find our table of 6 worth chatting to or smiling at. He took forever to retrieve 1 drink order, then neglected to ask anyone else if they would like a drink as well. He was asked twice to bring us a bar menu, which he seemed to forget about. There were only 2 other tables, so it wasn't terribly busy.
The food made up for the lackluster service, it was perfect.
I'd eat there again, maybe earlier in the evening when the service is more on their toes."

"The food was marvelous. We found the entree menu a little limiting so we took advantage of the Starters and ordered 2 of those plus a salad and one entree for the two of us. We shared it all and It was perfect.

Some entree items had formidable price tags."

"I took my mother there for Christmas breakfast. There were no decorations, and nothing special about the restaurant for the holiday. The buffet was warm scrambled eggs, cold potatoes, and cold sausage. The tablecloths looked wrinkled, and none of the tables were even set with silverware and glasses."

"The food was fine, but our server, Mark, seemed to have utter contempt for our table. He took our orders and served our food as if he wished he were anywhere else. When he placed my husband's first course on the table, he actually pushed my husband's shoulder to get him to sit back. The glass of wine we ordered with dinner never came. When we didn't order dessert, the server rolled his eyes and walked away.
Plus, though the restaurant was not busy, a very large table next to use wen un-bussed the whole night. We also witnessed the server arguing with another table about their check. Not a four-star experience.

On the upside, the food was very good and our junior waiter was great--very attentive."
