Beautiful view of the golf course, especially with the deer coming in the evening. The food and service was average, and the ambience that of a timeshare where most of the guests prefer to eat in their own rooms. The wine list was ok and the waiter helped us pick one of the better wines they had to offer. A quaint small place would have been a better choice for us.

The Grill @ The Silverado Resort & Spa is beautiful. It offers a huge deck overlooking the golf course and a large dining area. The menu is eclectic with a focus on "farm to table" dining. The menu is unfussed with a mix of comfort foods and eclectic menu items that focus the chef's creativity. I have had the chance to dine here a few times and the service is not at all stuffy, but relaxed. The service team are friendly and after one night at the restaurant they already remembered my name and my specific dining preferences. This is a great location for lunch or dinner but make sure you ask to be seated on the deck overlooking the golf course. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough.

We ate on the patio overlooking the golf course on a balmy summer evening. Our crab louie was good, the wine was very good, and sadly, the mud pie ice cream was partly crystallized. But we didn't care, because it was quiet, gorgeous and relaxing. We would definitely return for another evening on the patio.

Was pretty disappointed with this restaurant. Looked good on the website - but go there and its really nothing more than a glorified Pro Shop restaurant. Service was painfiully slow - had to ask twice for things several times. Not recommended.

The restaurant was a completly chaos on Sunday at dinner. Not enough service, a loud group from a convention. The presentation of the dishes was not appropiatte. The waitress forgot simple things like bringing a steak knive , etc..

We each enjoyed the Five Dot Flat Iron Steak dinner. It was really delicious as was the accompanying vegetables. Highly recommended. We sat on their deck overlooking the golf course and it was a very pleasant evening. The dining room area also looked inviting. We highly recommend the Grill. The service was great as well!

This restaurant had late seating, which worked out good for our party of 4. The food was good, except for the rib eye had too much gristle. Good wine selection and beers. Ambience and atmosphere was good. Since its a golf course, I wouldn't recommend it for kids.

We stayed at the Silverado Resort, so we thought we'd try The Grill for lunch and dinner. The food was good, but nothing special. We were there on a weekday, so not too many people dining, mostly older folks, I think. With so few diners at the time that we dined, not sure why we got seated at the table with the blocked view. There are many wonderful restaurants in Napa; I would rather go eat somewhere else next time.

Food was fantastic, but actually getting it was very slow. We ate there for breakfast two times. The waffles were very good. For dinner I had the Pollo Loco which was fantastic and my husband had the salmone. He said it was very good too. It took a long time to get our meal despite it always being only half full. The waiter was nice and gave us two free deserts. The creme bulee was delicious too. We were staying at the hotel and got a deal that included free breakfast so we ate there for breakfast each morning. We decided to eat dinner there since we were tired from wine tasting all day and didn't want to brave the road at night after drinking earlier. Dinner there was a good choice.

Food great, horrible service, hostess not present then was on phone checking on kids, bartender could not make Mai Tai and that was after 10 minute wait, she had whole bar service and a lot of tickets waiting on her to serve restaurant...then once seated no server, they were busy trying to clean up to leave, after 10 minutes I got up and found someone else to help us...through all that the food was really good...what a shame

Our early dinner at 5:30 didn'find many guests on what was a very cold winter evening for the residents of Napa Valley. My lanb shank was excellently prepared. My Husband's spighetti and meat walls proved a tasty dish. As it should be, the house wine was an excellent choice.

Had a Holiday dinner there. Everything was good, but staff was less than attentive. Table not properly set. Long delay to get drink order. We asked them to hold off starting the dinner order so we could enjoy our drinks. That was not to be. The dishes came fast (3 course menu), as soon as one was done, another was set down. Not even a chance to breath. The restaurant was not half full, so it was not a question of turning tables, just a rush experience. But, all in all, it was a nice meal & I give a lot of credit for people working the holidays.
