The Grill at Leon SpringsExpectations ExceededThe Grill at Leon was recommended to me by co-workers. They were not wrong. This place was more than just good eats. The entire experience from the valet to the chef was impeccable. The food was amazing. The wait staff was overly attentive. Even the owner himself came out to meet us simply because it was our first time dining there. That made the experience so over the top. It has become our favorite restaurant in San Antonio, no contest. Thanks for a beautiful dinning experience.

Food and service were great as usual.6/2/2013 12:00:00 AMFab Fish Friday Feast!Being fish fanatics, we headed to Leon Springs Grill for a seafood fix. As always, we were welcomed by the staff and promptly seated (we made reservations). The three of us in our party all ordered different dishes; crab cakes, halibut, and sea bass. We all shared a bite of each other's dishes and all were excellent. We paired our meal with a moderately priced Pinot Noir. Our server was attentive, if not talkative. The chef came by to make sure we were pleased with our dinner. It is always a nice experience at Leon Springs Grill which is why we keep coming back.....5/31/2013 12:00:00 AMalways greatOur favorite restaurant in the area and one of our favorites in all of san antonio. Food and service are always awesome. If only the hostess didnt always look so stressed... LOL5/18/2013 12:00:00 AMPricey but good!Good food, service and location, but be prepared for an expensive evening!4/19/2013 12:00:00 AMAnother Great Dining Experience!I have always had a very good dining experience at The Grille at Leon Springs and this time was no exception. Our waiter was very attentive and made excellent suggestions from the day's menu. Chef Thierry Burkle made a point to come by our table to make sure we were happy with our dishes. On our way out, owner/manager Armand offered us a drink on the house so we could enjoy a little time on the patio to hear the live music. Another excellent meal and the reason I keep coming back!4/19/2013 12:00:00 AMEaster BrunchFood was great and the service as well.
Buffet stations well presented, pleasing to the eyes and to the taste buds.3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMDelicous food and fabulous service!Fabulous polite, accomodating and efficient service from Jose and delicious food made for an enjoyable lunch at the Grill. We started with the crabcakes which were chock full of the REAL stuff and encased in a perfectly-cooked delicate crust.A portion of super-fresh greens and a mound of crispy shoestrings came with the order. My husband enjoyed the fresh, flaky blackened drum entree and I devoured the incredibly-yummy grilled shrimp sandwich. The brioche roll...the shrimp....the avacado salsa...what a wonderful, tasty, palate-pleasing trio! My only complaint is that the restaurant was very cold (hard to regulate in an old building, I realize).3/27/2013 12:00:00 AMThis was our first visit toThis was our first visit to The Grill at Leon Springs and we will be back. I had the escargot as my first course while my husband had the fish tacos. Both were very good and we knew that we would be in for a treat with our entrees, panko crusted tilapia with corn relish and pork tenderloin with mushroom sauce. We don't usually have dessert and when we do we usually share one but this time we had the assorted sorbet and the apple crepia. We are so glad we decided to have our own desserts and it was a perfect way to end our meal. We were pleased with the choice in wines and beers. I woulld highly recommend this restaurant.3/27/2013 12:00:00 AMCould not ask for more...Armand and Nicole were awesome hosts, the food was delicious, the wine selection left little to desire. And that was our first visit... but absolutely will not be the last.3/16/2013 12:00:00 AM
