Great Choice.I absolutely loved this place. We were celebrating Mother's Day and it was fantastic. I am in love with the ambience. The food was great. The staff, welcoming and friendly. All this of course comes with a price but it was worth it. Our wait staff seemed a bit new but the overall experience makes up for that. Greeted at the door with friendly smiles that also continued thru dinner. Although it was our first visit the feeling was like we 'always' dine here. The lamb and fillet were cooked to perfection and melted in the mouth. I've seen a few wine lists but I have never seen such an extensive . . book ! Each item was imaginative and well presented. I loved the flavors of the Beets and House-made Mozzarella and the Lobster Bisque was rich and full bodied. I tried the Chicken and Waffles because it sounded so unusual. The chicken was perfectly cooked with a crisp crust and the waffle and dates added a well balanced bit of sweet to the savory. Plates are too heavy -- would prefer smaller for each trip to the table -- especially beginning & ending of meal. For some like myself, handicap with only the use of one hand, there is need for room near the salad/ appetisers to place our dishes while serving up! Our server, Darenda, was most attentive to our needs & kept our beverages flowing!! This was our 2nd Sun brunch & we will return!

Both were prepared perfectly and were visually impressive. The service was first rate-- in fact, we both commented on how many different servers accomodated us over the meal. I would recommend the restaurant to anyone. And the food . . . it's very solid but the menu feels like it could use modernizing. It's basically a 2-course menu of soup/salad + entree. One could, however, have a salad and then a hot starter (like the stellar scallops dish I had) before getting an entree but the menu offers no inventive appetizers to share or snack on over drinks. The entrees we had were all very well executed: a juicy pork chop, a nice filet, meltingly good spare ribs. Sides were a little muddled but not bad. Desserts were very good. The only food that did not met our expectation was the salad which was not crisp, more like a salad that has sat out or isn't prepared fresh. I had a bad experience the time before at the grill and sent two written notice about the poor service and never received an acknowledgement. Walking up to the Dining Room from the parking lot, smelling the aroma of the newly blossomed jasmine, the beauty of the courtyard was exquisite and made the 5 minute wait for our table a joy. Inside, we were treated with care and full accommodation. I am not a wine connoisseur but had a particular taste I wanted in a wine. The wine staff was so helpful in recommending a bottle and describing differences in layman's terms. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was calm, intimate, and lovely. The duck crepes were delicious, and the fish perfectly grilled. Service was attentive without being cloying; the sound level quiet so conversation between four people was easy. Sunset and mt. views thru the huge windows; every seat had a spectacular view. Truly a five Star experience. Well worth the cost, especially for a special occasion.
