We are world travellers and Greenhouse Tavern was in our top 10 across the United States and world. We will go back again if downtown Cleveland. It is well worth it in every respect. The vibe is very cool with a friendly welcome from the staff when arriving. Our server was a sweetheart and very knowledgeable. Myself and my colleague are big craft beer drinkers and she introduced us to some fantastic local brews. Then we come to the food which was absolutely top notch. I had smelts and braised meatball for an appetizer and the lamb burger for my main. We ordered Chicken Wings confit and it was absolutely divine! They were by far the best chicken wings I've ever eaten, EVER! We also had strip steak & frites - fantastic, the jus to pour over meat and fries was so tasty that I wish I could have it every day, even for breakfast. Our friends had double decker veggie burger (he said it was the best veggie burger he's ever had!) and a lamb burger - also yummy. Great service, too! I recommend this restaurant to everyone! The food was amazing - one of those restaurants where every bite is unique and wonderful. You have a difficult time choosing which is the best food on the table. Love the bar, too: interesting craft beer selection. Our friends were impressed, too, and they are foodies with NYC standards! I had been to this restaurant about 18 months ago (without reservations, so we didnt have the best of tables) and remember really enjoying the food and vibe of the place. We were disappointed that the kitchen was out of several of the "big" dishes, so he settled on the Lamb Burger. I had the Steak Frites. Both were very good. We ordered a first and a second plate...the Crispy Hominy was like biting into a bunch of limes- the flavor was too strong and you couldn't enjoy the other parts of the dish. The Stuffed Seminola Pasta was quite delicious. Can't rave enough about the Buttered Popcorn Pot de Creme.

We sat downstairs in the kitchen at the counter. We had the four course tasting menu it was a great deal and fantastic. We started with the devils on horseback followed up with the beet soup and winter carrots my wife had the pasta and I had the 40 date aged steak. I normally don't eat desser, but we split the caramel popcorn Brulé. Our server Jody was attentive and friendly. The food was so good I was actually giggling with glee at many of the tastes. The kitchen also gave us a taste of the shrimp risotto which was unbelievable. The vibe is fresh and hot and vibrant. Very urban. The food, oh the food: is a kaleidoscope of taste, spice, sweet and sour, asian and not. Accent has two special ovens that bring foods to new levels of yum; they caramelize everything from mushrooms to marshmallows ( not to be missed).
