California Craftsman architecture, inspired by the British Arts and Crafts movement, maintains clean and simple lines with beautiful use of raw materials including wood and copper and a hint of Asian influence. Intricate woodwork gives the structures a timeless handcrafted look, and rustic materials tie them to the earth. The beautiful and warm interior of the Greene House reflects this sensibility.
