My boyfriend had not been there since he was a child; nearly 40 years ago. Being there again brought back many childhood memories of his visits to the Green Room with his parents for Sunday Brunch and holidays. It was nice to see that the service, ambiance and food were still being upheld to standards from years ago. This is a dining experience we will both remember. Everything on the wine list was extremely expensive - it was more economical to get a cocktail with twice the amount of alcohol! A few close family and I went there to celebrate my husband's 75th birthday. It was truly special. We were treated like royalty. My husband is gluten free and that was no problem at all. Two in our party enjoyed the Chef's Tasting menu and it couldn't have been better. Two of us had the special Scallop and Tuna special which was to die for.... The food and presentation were simply perfection! We celebrated our anniversary here, along with our 6-year-old son. It was a very good experience for him, too. We really appreciate a restaurant that accommodates children (by offering food choices just for kids and great service) without dumbing-down the adult menu or sacrificing quality or service. The Green Room handles this superbly. Our frisée and golden beet salads were delicious. The surf-and-turf and scallops entrées were scrumptious. We were too full for dessert, but we got the Hotel's famous complimentary macaroon cookies to go - couldn't pass those up!
