Diner Reviews
  • "Totally casual, a great wine list and a wine flight option with 3different 3 oz pours for $15. Laid back and relaxing, exactly what we were looking for..."

  • "This visit was a little disappointing, because so much had changed since our last visit. It was a fine outing, just a little deflating,"
    Dined on 3/10/2012
  • "The food was hit and miss. I enjoyed my entree, herb roasted chicken, but the black bean soup tasted like it had been poured out of a can, into my bowl, and heated up in the microwave. Cross your fingers when you order!"

  • "Great food, service from Clinton was even better. 1000 thumbs up!"

  • "I reserved a table on valentines day, we arrived 15 minutes early and our table was ready, every body was friendly and the service was great, our food was prepared fast and it tasted amazing. To my surprise the prices on the menu were very reasonable. I would definitely recommend the grape as a spot for a nice evening or date."

  • "The food was great and came out quickly. The wine was very good. The service was great. It wasn't very loud. It was an overall great experience."

  • "Knowledgeable staff. Attention to detail. Great wine."

  • "Food and service were both great. Smaller intimate tables with little noise, great for a date night. Menu was a little limited but everything that we tried was fantastic. I will def be back to The Grape."

  • "Really enjoyed the food; mezze platter, black bean soup, entree salads, and special of the day shrimp roll. Everyone commented that the food was really fresh. They have a decent wine list by the glass and we thoroughly enjoyed our pre-movie lunch! Service was great."

  • "I took my girlfriend to the Grape after work for a couple flights of wine and some appitizers. The food and wine was great, however the service was anything but. The server started his conversation by answering my question of "How are you doing today?" with, "Well I'm at work, so..." He continued his losing streak by having no idea what any of the specials were, any of the happy hour deals were, what the wine parings for the month were, which ones were out of stock, it was bad. Then on top of that the manager apparently changed the happy hour menu and instead of offering some sort of deal, said there just were no specials. Not a way to take care and consideration of your customers. The place was dead, we were 2 of 3 customers there."

  • "My husband, son, and I went to The Grape for an early dinner prior to seeing Cavalia. The service was impectable and the food was excellent. Upon arrival and seating, they gave us a taste of the wine they were featuring that night, which was very nice. They were even able to modify a dish for my son. We had a very nice and relaxful time prior to our show. We would highly recommend The Grape and will definately be back."

  • "Kind of a small place but nice atmosphere. Had lunch there and ordered off the $10 business special. We had three items off the menu and everything was delicious! Good server as well."

  • "This was my first time at The Grape, but it definitely will not be my last.I had heard good things about The Grape, and I was not disappointed. I enjoyed the food, the atmosphere and especially the service. The waiter was very attentive and knowledgeable(I'm a novice regarding wine). I ordered the grilled salmon which was perfectly cooked and delicious. This is the perfect place for an itimate date, or just unwinding with friends afterwork. Whatever the reason, just make it to The Grape!!!"

  • "As recent transplants to ATL from DC, we were a little nervous about the food scene here. The Grape at Atlantic Station could certainly hold its own in DC, and was hands down the best food, service, and overall dining experience we have had to date in ATL. The dinner menu isn't too expansive, but the lamb chops were outstanding, as was the brie as an appetizer. The passion of management to run a great restaurant was clearly evident. We will definitely be back."

  • "Went here for an late lunch/early dinner during the work week. Food was good but didn't realize how limited the menu is. Had more wines than dishes...but I guess that's why it named "Grape." Anyhow, everything was fine...not exceptional but fine."

  • "We had an awesome waiter, very engaged. I have to describe him because I completely forget his name, sorry! He was very knowledgable of the menu items and even asked an individual in the party if a particular ingredient was to their liking. Very detail oriented. Brown skin gentleman, dreads and dark rimmed glasses. Superb! The wine sampling was tasty but no one was wanting any wine that night. This special evening was for my boyfriend's birthday unbeknownst to him. The traffic was horrible and we missed our 7:30 p.m. reservation but was immediately seated upon arrival. The service and menu items were both outstanding and I would recommend this for either a cozy evening of romance or a girl's night out on the town."

  • "My husband and I live in Atlantic Station and loving having a wine bar to walk to. We especially enjoy the flights of wine they offer. We had a coupon mix up and Jessica, the manager, was very helpful. We did not have food the visit, but in the past, we have enjoyed the Mediterranean plate and also the crab cakes. They also had live music which I loved, but my husband felt it was a little loud."

  • "Service was very slow. Corn and clam chowder was not very good, otherwise food was okay."

  • "My wife and I went to The Grape for dinner and left the most satisfied customers ever. I ordered a chicken dish and the first one that arrived was very overcooked. Our waiter - Kenya - immediately jumped into action and replaced the dish with a freshly cooked one without any questions asked. My wife's salad was fantastic. The service that left us Grape customers for life came from the manager on-duty. She was so kind and thoughtful to us and went above and beyond to ensure that we left happy. She truly made our night. The restaurant has a great atmosphere, live music and a phenomenal wine list to choose from. I would recommend this to everyone who is looking for a romantic night or just some good food and great wine."

  • "I loved the ambiance and I really appreciated our server, (Lane), being so patient as I made my way through the extensive wine list with questions and tastes."

  • "The Grape was pricey, but the food was good. The live musician wasn't the best but considering the size of the place I guess that's all they could do."
    Dined on 2/19/2011
  • "The food at the grape is good. On the weekends, can be a little crowded, but was a good spot of Thursday night."

  • "I don't know what happened but the restaurant wasn't ready for my dining party even though it was near empty. The waitress seemed like she was in another world. Not paying attention to the orders that were given, not checking back to see if everything was alright. Had to get a supervisor or lead person to go track our waitress down,etc.. Made my birthday celebration a complete travesty. I wish I had it someplace else..."

  • "Went for dinner on a Saturday night as I read the good reviews. The hostess was accommodating as we were late for our reservation. Service was fair, long wait times for simple requests such as utensils and napkins. Food was good, crab and corn chowder delicious as an appetizer however, the main course was not notable. Overall ok restaurant, but something is lacking."

  • "My boyfriend and I went here for dinner before Cirque de Soleil in Atlantic Station. When I made the reservation, the hostess actually called to see if the reservation was for a special occasion, and when we arrived, they brought up our plans for Cirque later that night, which was a nice personal touch. They sat us at the window which we liked, where we could people watch and see the square's Christmas tree. The food was great, we had the shrimp and grits and the mahi tacos, which were very well done with plenty of flavor. We both loved it! As for the wine, a little over priced on certain bottles, but the list was great and lots of our favorites were on there! I'll be returning"

  • "I LOVE this place. The atmosphere is romantic- dark and quiet. Although the menu is limited, the food is delicious. Our waitress was very helpful with our wine selections and the wine list is the wine lover's heaven:)"

  • "Good food and service and friendly staff. Enjoyed the italian wine sampling. The mezza appetizer was lovely and both entrees (crab cakes and hanger steak salad) were also fabulous. Very happy with this experience."

  • "Took my sister and nephew there and some old family friends. The wait was not too long although longer than expected with a reservation. Food was great, but the service was aweful. Very slow, unapologetic...was almost like we were not there."
    Dined on 11/20/2010
  • "Service was very slow, waitress was very inattentive. Food was good, wine was great. If the service had been adequate, this would've been a much better rating."
    Dined on 11/14/2010
  • "It was 'Ladies' Night Out' so we were only there for wine, but we saw the food that some of the diners ordered and it looked delicious. When I return with my husband, I will definitely dine as well."

  • "We had a great time & dining experience once we got there. The only problem we had was trying to find the restaurant. It's buried in the heart of Atlantic Station & unless you know the area well, it's VERY difficult to find. The Grape website was no help with directions. I even called the restaurant & they couldn't tell me where it was. Confusing!"

  • "We like this place because it is walkable from our home and has a great wine selection. We especially like trying the different flights of wine featured monthly."
    Dined on 11/6/2010
  • "Food was great. It was very noisy--hard to carry on a conversation. They had half price flatbreads. We had shrimp flatbread which was great, pork flatbread which was very good, and baked brie which was outstanding. We just did share plates and some wine. Service was excellent."

  • "Happy hour with an air of sophistication. Knowledgeable wine servers and an extensive Wine list. Perfect for a casual drink, date, dessert, or nightcap. Now serving a full bar."
