"The dinner menu is limited. I'd like to see additional dinner items such as sandwiches and dinner salads. The dinner menu does not offer casual dining. If you're staying at the Geneva Inn, you don't have an option but to drive into town for casual dining."

"The room was nice, but the 2 nt. package was overpriced. Pkg. incl. dinner one evening. We were shocked when we received the $13 shrimp appetizer and the $11 Caesar Salad. The salad was very small-nothing special about it. For $13, we received EXACTLY 3 shrimp with cocktail sauce. They weren't even JUMBO sized shrimp. Large, but not Jumbo. It was an insult. EXTREMELY disappointed with the appetizers/price for what we received. Our main entre was the 22 oz. steak - one medium & one medium rare. They were grilled nicely on the outside, but the MEDIUM steak was on the tough side and blood red halfway into the middle. Because of eating into it that far, I was embarrassed to send it back. We told the waitress who did absolutely nothing."

"THE VIEW, THE VIEW, THE VIEW!!! This place has one of the nicest views of Lake Geneva we have ever seen. We ate as the sun was going down and it was breath taking. The food was very good but the service was truly special. I had (Believe it or not) a pastry topped chicken pot pie that was to die for. My wife had a veal cheek gnocchi dish. The veal cheek was excellent but they put a little too much of a reduction sauce over the gnocchi and made it too mushy. Noone would probably notice but my wife is from Italy and knows how gnocchi should taste. Othaer than that, it was a very special experience for us."

"The Grandview is one of my favorite restaurants. It overlooks Lake Geneva, of Lake Geneva, WI and thus provides a wonderful and special view of the lake. Food is consistently good. Menu is appropriately varied, ranging this last time at lunch from a calamari salad, to warm entres--I chose the crabmeat patties which were outstanding-- to a good ol' fashioned purger, if that is what you are seeking. Wine list is more than adequate. Highly recommend."

"I dine at the Geneva Inn frequently . I live right down the road from it. We always take guests here for the food, gorgeous view of Geneva Lake, charm of the restaurant and loveliness of the wait staff. This is one of several great restaurants in Lake Geneva, WI. Now they have just added breakfast during the week! Heaven! Be sure to make a reservation, especially in summer."
