"The food was out of this world! I thought mine might have been a bit warmer, but then I thought the chef may have figured if it's too hot you can't taste it as well. The staff was friendly and had nice personalities. Especially the woman who came around to see if everything was all right. I'd dined in a comparable restaurant in Long Island, and the wait staff were a bit cool by comparison. I had a wonderful time!"

"The food was very good overall. Oysters on half shell were sweet and fresh. The bread was fresh baked and quite good (several varieties). The duck entree was excellent and cooked to perfection. My black cod with pulled pork was okay. Too little fish which was not remarkable and too salty pulled pork. Dessert was fruit compote which was served in a meringue. Too sweet for my taste, but the dried fruit was good. All in all a decent meal but could be less salty and less sweet. The service was excellent. The wine was good. The ambience was first class and quiet (it was a slow evening there)."

"Our favorite restaurant in Harrisburg. Everything from the preparation and presentation of the food to being greeted by Joseph makes for an memorable evening. A must visit for anyone visiting Harrisburg."

"We were disappointed in the food. Our filets were to be med. rare, but were slightly overcooked, but more, it was cut in half leaving it dry by the time it reached the table. We were served a tablespoon each of 3 sauces, hardly enough for 2 steaks. The lobster mac n cheese, an upcharge, did not have one piece of lobster.
We enjoyed the super service and atmosphere"

"Both the menu and wine list were surgically precise, with a focus on currently available fresh foods. Presentation was top notch, and portions were balanced to provide a quality experience over "value (read too much food)." The menu allowed the patron to cobble together a varied fully satisfying meal. Flavors were well balanced, and sauces were used to good effect. In particular, the sweet potato soup with walnuts and maple syrup was outstanding - tending toward sweetness, but not cloyingly sweet. Service was very good, with a flurry at the beginning, but not hovering during the meal.

This is not your everyday restaurant and would become tiresome if treated that way; this is a special place for a magic evening."

"Probably the best wine list in central PA. Very helpful sommelier. Great steaks...Allen Brothers, beautiful presentation of entrees. Quiet, romantic, great place for upscale business dinner. Save it for a special occasion."
