We had a group of 6 and not one person could find one thing to complain about -everything was very well done. It is a bit pricey - but you do end up with a excellent night, fantastic service and well made food so its really hard to complain. We would definitely return again when we are in New Brunswick."

  • "The actual service was great. Our waitress was quite knowledgeable about the food and drinks, and was very helpful with our questions. This was on a Friday night, so maybe they were slow. It took a little less than 10 minutes for the waitress to come take our order, and then another 15 minutes to get our first drinks. Otherwise, the food was excellent, and the ambience was great!"

  • "I reserved a table at the Frog and the Peach for my boyfriend's birthday because I had heard amazing recommendations from friends and coworker. They were RIGHT! The ambiance was great for a romantic night out. The service was outstanding. My waiter was so friendly, outgoing, and seemed interested in us! He really enjoys his job! I am also notorious among my friends and family of being very picky with my food. Both dishes, as well as the side dishes, were out out of this world! The chicken was perfect and paired with other flavors that lead me to clear my plate. The drinks were also amazing. Classy and lovely restaurant. I highly recommend it."

  • "My wife and I came for our anniversary dinner on Saturday evening March 29th. Our entrees were good, but one appetizer (smoked salmon) was not fresh. The service was quite poor. All the servers had tons of attitude and you were lucky if you received what you requested without asking 2 or 3 times. This never used to happen at Frog and a Peach, where we have been coming for years for our special occasions. If you bill yourself as a fine dining establishment and charge accordingly, the food and service should be impeccable!"

My group shared the gnocchi with truffles as a first course. It was cooked to perfection. My chicken dish was tender and juicy. My friends ate the bronzino, shrimp, and spaghetti with peppers. Everyone raved about their food. For dessert I had the sticky toffee pudding with walnuts...Amazing. Do not miss this restaurant if you are in the area."

  • "I write this after realizing I went to foodie when what I really wanted was hole-in-the-wall. That said, it has a great experience. The food was really good (I had the black truffle gnocchi and the seared shrimp... think shrimp and grits). I expected a bit more sauce on the gnocchi but all in all not bad. The glorious light in the middle of an already lit room was the toffee pudding. It was incredible! I was about to call it a night when the hostess noticed my blank stare and said it would be the first item she would have at the restaurant. Nice reco! The mood was nice, the staff amazingly friendly and the food pretty good (dessert amazing). I would try it out if you are in the area."

  • "We were greatly surprised with the upscale feel, service and food of this place. We were well taken care of the entire time. For the food, we had the black truffle ricotta gnocchi, delicious, and then we moved to the entrees. I had the slow cooked pork cheek and my wife chicken. Meats were perfectly cooked and very tasty. My wife ordered a side of Mac and cheese that is made with aged Gouda and the black truffle...! Deserts were good, but not to die for (I confess I am not that crazy for sweet). Service was what brought the experience to another level. Ana Paula was great throughout the night and made us feel like been dining at a friends place, entertaining and very friendly, made our night shine! Strongly recommend!"

  • "We have eaten here a few times and always looked forward to returning. Service was outstanding, drinks, very good etc. Appetizer portion of sashimi was small but good. The monkfish entrée portion was smaller than the appetizer. I had 2 pieces of fish the size of a half dollar, 2 tiny pieces of bacon, and 4 baby claims. The manager was very nice and asked if I wanted more fish but we were already finished. The dessert was great and they did deduct a portion my bill. If you come on a Saturday night, try to avoid the valet parking; when we exited the restaurant, there were about 30 people ahead of us waiting for cars."

If you are an adventurous eater, you will like the choices on the menu, but if you like traditional food it is not the place to go. The chicken and the shrimp entrees were good but the other choices such as goat, pork belly cheeks and other unusual dishes such as boar filet made it difficult to choose an entree. The cosmos were smooth and delicious with a citrussy flavor and the beet salad as an appetizer was interesting and delicious. Though the service and food were very good I felt that it was too expensive unless you are dining for a special occasion."

  • "Celebrated our anniversary here and it was even better than what we had expected! The mood was personal and romantic, and the staff was so helpful. They sat us in a corner, facing each other, we were able to focus on our food and our selves the entire night. The menu was very well put together, I chose the 5 course tasting and my girlfriend chose tuna tartare and lobster with tortellini. When dessert came out, "Happy Anniversary" was written on the plate in chocolate along with a candle, it made for such a beautiful, romantic surprise to an already romantic evening. We will certainly be coming back! A++! I recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a quiet and affectionate night. For the level of service the price was very reasonable."

  • "Although my husband felt it was a bit too trendy for his tastes and way overpriced, we still had a very tasty outstanding meal. My only gripe was when my husband ordered a Riesling by the glass, the waiter came back to tell him that they were all out of the one that was sold "by the glass". For a place of such caliber as it was, he was a bit offended that he was not offered a different type of Riesling by the glass instead. This is why I rated 4 stars instead of 5. Other than that we had a very nice evening out here."

  • "Horrible food. Everything smelled of burnt oil or a really poor cooking medium. The starter was fair-Sashimi. But uninspired. The monkfish my wife ordered was completely inadequate in quantity and my tenderloin could have been better. The bread was heavy and the herb butter smelled of the freezer. The wine was mediocre. Everything was overpriced and way overrated. Parking was horrible. Despite space being available in customer parking we were not allowed to park there. Despite plenty of space in the restaurant we were seated oon the top of the staurs in a room that was as uninspired as it gets. Service polite but inattentive. Not worth going back to. Definitely not a "Nicholas" or a "Lorena's"."

  • "My husband and I recently had dinner at The Frog and The Peach. The menu was not very big, but the offerings were unique & creative. The atmosphere was nice but still relaxed, not stuffy like some restaurants that feature fancier fare. We sat in the screened in/glass enclosed section, which was heated and very nice for a chilly night. The service was good and overall, we had a positive experience. Good for special occasions."

  • "It was our first time at The Frog & Peach.......so glad we went to this charming restaurant! The atmosphere is welcoming; the surroundings comfortable and cozy. The waitstaff was excellent; very pleasant. The appetizers were great. Large enough to be a light meal in themselves. The flatbread, pastrami cured salmon and tuna sashimi were marvelous. The beet salad was the perfect size. The main courses were outstanding...the fish fresh and cooked just right. The bison and del monico steak were melt in your mouth perfect. The short ribs were flavorful. We enjoyed the desserts....nice selection. The citrus pound cake was great. Our table really enjoyed the ice creams and sorbets. Overall....a great meal...a great evening! Can't wait to go back!"

  • "5 of us met for a Saturday night Reunion and ordered anywhere from the 5 course meal to the simple pasta dish. The ambiance was perfect for our mood but if you want quiet - this is not the place on a Saturday night. The only catches were the wine chosen for the desert on the 5-course meal was too heavy for the desert and the servers were a bit awkward and at times leaned across my face or put the plate on top of one of our members napkin almost tipping it in their lap. Otherwise the waiters were amazing; the greeter and the people that were kind enough to take pictures for us made our evening very special. PS: The bathroom is woefully small for this size restaurant - needs some adjustment there"

  • "The food is certainly not run of the mill with interesting choices, which is what we love in a menu. With an extensive wine list it was difficult to make a choice but the sommelier offered a wonderful suggestion that was reasonably priced. We were seated in the garden room which was a bit chilly on a winter night with plastic chairs. We would just ask for a different table next time, the food wins you over. I must add that the valet experience was atrocious, we waited over a half hour for our car. Cars were lined up to be parked and the attendants kept running back and forth, bringing back the wrong cars. As this is contracted out, I cannot blame the restaurant but as the parking garage is around the corner self parking is the way to go."

  • "The Frog and the Peach is an excellent fine dining restaurant. The ambience of the restaurant creates a welcoming atmosphere for both romantic dinner dates and professional dinner meetings. Personally, I took my girlfriend out for her 22nd birthday and we both really enjoyed the quality of the food. Portion sizes were small, but that's to be expected at a restaurant such as this. My only complaint is that the server that we had was mediocre, at best. She was very friendly and accommodating, but it took forever for us to be able to place our order. We said we needed two more minutes and she gave us 10 minutes... Also, I expect my glass of water to be refilled in relatively short period of time at a nice restaurant. Waited 5 minutes..."
