The Frog and the PeachGreat Mothers Day ExperienceTook my wife, 2 daughters and grandchild. Staff was exceptional and accommodating, service was attentive and food was not only great but fun. Menu was pre-fixe with good choices and dessert was wonderful. One small mixup with our espresso order which was gernerously comped. Considering this was Mothers Day, this was exceptional and made a very special day for us even more special. Thanks to Anna and Mike for their attentive service and good humor on what I am sure was a long and hectic day!!!5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMPerfect....as usual! We contemplate going other places for our birthday or anniversary, but in the end we go back to the best!5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat Food, Great ServiceThe menu was spectacular and the service was even better. Mike, our waiter, was knowledgeable not only about the menu but also about the wine list and was most helpful in helping us pair our meals with fantastic wine. A top notch experience.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMAttentive service and great foodWe had tickets to an 8 o'clock show and quickly realized that we perhaps had not given ourselves enough time. We mentioned this to our waiter and he told us he would ask the kitchen to move quickly on our orders. We really appreciated that and we made it to our show just in time. The food was excellent. Next time we will leave ourselves plenty of time so we can savor every bite.5/9/2013 12:00:00 AMAlways a favoriteThe Frog and the Peach is consistently wonderful. It is one of our favorite places to dine - creative delicious combinations, lovely service and a great wine list. Always a great selection whether you want fish, fowl, meat or vegetarian. And don't miss the crmem brulee - it is the best anywhere!5/3/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent serviceOutstanding service and ambience created a perfect date night experience, despite slightly over salted entrees. Highly recommend!5/3/2013 12:00:00 AMAll was great! The only issueAll was great! The only issue - which is not the fault of TFATP is the nightmaric parking situation that is New Brunswick on a busy lunchtime afternoon. When I am in New Brunswick for business I would go here for sure, but not sure I would venture into the city from out of town to eat here. Too much of a hassle. Fabulous restaurant though. Easily New Brunswick's best. Great dining experience and an excellent staff.4/25/2013 12:00:00 AMFood and ambiance were veryFood and ambiance were very good. Seems over priced for what it was.4/24/2013 12:00:00 AMDidn't like out table. WeDidn't like out table. We were too close to other tables.4/24/2013 12:00:00 AMUnderwhelmedThe ambiance and service was fantastic, but we were underwhelmed by the food. The appetizers were delicious as expected. The grilled Kale and Endive Salad is very special with its slice of Monte Enebro and dried cherries. However, our entrees were unfortunately quite mediocre. I had the Crispy Local Jumbo Fluke, which was not crispy, but instead greasy and heavy and served with overcooked soba noodles. My spouse had the Duck Breast, which was wonderfully prepared and served with a delicious Thai inspired sauce. However, the sticky rice was not glutenous rice, nor even basmati, but rather some form of Uncle Ben's rice. The Griggstown Chicken was dry and unevenly cooked. Dessert was good, but not terribly inspired.4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMThanks fir being so accomodating!Great service and maitre'd.....excellent but somewhat pricey4/15/2013 12:00:00 AMAdventurous vegetarians & omnivoresGreat place: flexible menu options for vegetarians & both conservative & adventurous omnivores. My wife had savory carrot & lentil soup, the most tender organic chicken breast every roasted & a chocolate banana bread. I had 6 course tasting menu including octopus salad, roasted pork & some wonderful cheese but a disappointingly banal fig bread pudding. Each course artfully plated. The mix of flavors, textures, aromas & colors were well balance so that the courses (all but the fig bread pudding) played well together. The service, including the valet parking (no parking lot at the restaurant that we could see) was very good, sufficiently attentive but not exceptional. The noise level too high & the tables overly crowded for true comfort.4/10/2013 12:00:00 AMFood presentation and qualityFood presentation and quality were outstanding; the service was excellent. The only complaint is that we were not given a choice in terms of seating and were seated in the garden room when there was space available in the main dining area.4/5/2013 12:00:00 AMA few good dishes. The chickenA few good dishes. The chicken and steak was fantastic. The creme brûlée was delectable. Flatbread was not amazing as I would hope and the banana bread was ok. I was expecting a much nicer decor for the prices. Only when I left did I see the outdoor/indoor area and thought wow that would have been nice. So make sure to request that seating. And the pre-theater menu (until 6:30) is the way to go. $42 per person makes it much more affordable.3/30/2013 12:00:00 AMExperience Frog and the PeachDined for lunch. We were greeted by a very nice gentleman w/a beaming welcoming smile who offered to check our coats, then led us to our table. The prices were extremely reasonable for the items on the menu. I feel foodies will love FnP's incredibly delicious infused butters & the staff is not shy about divulging the ingredients, IF you ask questions & show interest in what you are eating. The staff is eager to please and quite knowledgeable about the food served. I highly recommend Frog & Peach to people who love amazing food!3/11/2013 12:00:00 AMBeing a person of very fewBeing a person of very few words, everything was terrific as usual.3/8/2013 12:00:00 AM
