Steaks were a bit overdone but they quickly remedied it. Chocolate souffles for desert were awesome. The room has a very historical feel yet is also still very vibrant and contemporary. Tasteful, I guess is what you could call it but it really is so much more?

Several ordered steaks and they were good, but I am from Texas were steaks are usually great. The short ribs were a huge disappointment, and we sent them back. The service was a bit slow, so we were unable to get a replacement meal by the time we flagged down a waiter to help us out. The soufflé at the end was very good. Atmosphere was very sophisticated and cool. I would say not a flawless experience but would go back and try it again. The wine list is extensive (80 wines available by the glass!) and they have some very unique cocktails. The food was less spectacular. The filet was good but not great--I expected much more from this place. The sauce served with the filet was too overpowering and masked rather than complemented the flavor of the meat. The beans had too much soy, making this side a little less palatable as well. for dessert, highly recommend pistachio souffle and salted caramel ice cream.
the interior is decorated to anyone's liking.

They renovated completely & it's beautiful. We sat at the bar for dinner. Sampled some wines & apps etc... Need to go back to try more on the interesting menu. Our waiter Miki was phenomenal and really made our group of 7 girls feel like we were the only ones in the restaurant. The lobster corn chowder was delicious as well as the souffle! Steak was fantastic, grilled cheese pb&J with lobster was good and creative. In terms of service, our server, the guy who took us around and explained the wine system, and the sommelier did a bang up job. The place looks beautiful inside, especially the library, where we ate.
