The Flying V at Loews Ventana Canyon ResortOur experience at Flying VWe were very happy with our experience at Flying V. Dinner was very special because it was our 61st wedding anniversary. The service and the food were great. It's a bit pricey so we won't come here too often but for special occasions and to recommend to out of town guests looking for a great place to eat we wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

When you enter, the staff makes you feel like you are part of the family, welcoming you and repeatedly checking in. Since we stayed a couple days at the resort, we ran into the same people, who actually remembered us from our dinner, and stopped to say hi and ensure we were still doing well. I have enjoyed eating there many times and it is always a special time for all, with great food & drink & service. The setting is quite lovely and the ambience is casual but elegant. They had reserved a lovely window table for us and presented my husband with a delicious birthday dessert with candle.

It was just too bitter to eat and enjoy. Not sure why but all the ingredients had a bitter unpleasant taste. Can't remember what salad it was, but was first on the list for $13.
