The Fireplace Restaurant at The International is open to the public and offers a relaxed environment featuring gourmet thin-crust pizzas, a variety of casual dining options all day long, as well as a more formal dining option.

The Fireplace Room restaurant is situated in the heart of the property of The International Golf Club & Resort, amongst 600 acres of natural beauty with views.

  • "Very pleased with the service and the atmosphere but the food was mostly boring and very expensive. The clam chowder was fantastic, but $9 for a small bowl? We ordered two dinner specials. The seafood fra diavolo was not very good. Generous amount of lobster and shrimp but the sauce was not spicy and was very sweet and bland. The beef medalions special was nothing special and the accompanying brussel sprouts were nearly tasteless (I love brussel sprouts too). Desert was an ice cream dish with a corn flake crust, almonds, etc. Not bad. Service was fantastic, very professional. We would definitely consider going back to give The Fireplace Room another shot as we live in town...BUT...the prices were just way too high for the quality of food."

  • "Known about this place for years and never tried it. Glad I did. Situated on a scenic golf course in Bolton. The food was AMAZING and the service was very good. The only downside, if this is a downside, is the dining room is an open space as it is used for functions as well, so there is very little architectural detail to speak of. The room is very elegant with rich wood, cloth table coverings, etc, It just felt a little "open" but the food and attentive service by the manager, Jessica, make this an absolute must on my list."

  • "I found this restaurant on OpenTable and didn't realize it was inside a country club. The setting was absolutely beautiful as we arrived just as the sun was setting over the beautiful golf course. They said they had only been open to the public for a year and half. We had never heard of it and it was strange ride over small country roads to get there. The food was outstanding as was the service. I had kobe beef and my husband had shrimp and then a porkchop which he said we excellent. He's very fussy about how the shrimp are cleaned and he said these were done perfectly. Every course was just delicious and the waitress was extremely friendly and attentive. Highly recommended."

  • "We were doing a tour of the Open Table restaurants near us, and we found this lovely place on a golf course, way out of the way. The room is spacious, the view is out onto the golf course, and the wait staff is friendly and quick. After we pondered the main courses, the waitress suggested the small plate menu, tapas-style, and we got several things from that menu, each of which was very good. In particular, the fries wrapped in prosciutto are genius. Definitely a place we'll go back to."

  • "Our family took my inlaws for a wonderful dinner here. They have an incredibly diverse menu ...an upscale dinner menu, a small plates menu, and also served off their large lunch menu, too! Everyone happy, 10 to 87! I was impressed by the skill, care and quality of ingredients across such a large menu. The same kitchen that turned out a wonderful halibut over mango rice, and a watermelon feta mint salad, did a lovely job with artisanal pizza, nachos, and an excellent composed Cobb salad with gorgeous lettuces (no bagged "mesclun" here). The dining room is large and nice but simple - golf course views are lovely. We live and dine in and around NYC. We're delighted to find this great restaurant tucked away minutes from our Mass. relatives!"

  • "The thing I liked best about the restaurant was how intimate and relaxing it was. First off, it is located in the woods beside a golf course. You have already gotten away from your troubles! On a Saturday evening the restaurant was mostly empty. We had a great view of the golf course and woods. Another table asked for the PA to be turned down -- our wish exactly. The food was quite satisfyingly good, some of it excellent. They have many small plates, a nice alternative to an entree. I look forward to returning many times in the future."

Ordered two martinis, after another 10 minutes one drink was served and server informed us that they ran out of martini glasses and other drink would be out in a while. Food took a bit of time to be served, but the quality and taste were outstanding! If they fix the service issues, it would be a great place!"

  • "First time at the Fireplace Room. Decided to try it as part of Restaurant Week, had great experiences trying new restaurants. Invited another couple, required a change to the reservation (week prior to). Changing the reservation caused confusion . At first hostess said, "your reservation is only for 2, but that is ok". We just stood there looking confused because we had received the OpenTable confirmation of the change. Eventually she saw the change and we were seated quickly. Several children and pizza boxes, took away from the ambiance. Band was a nice touch. Menu as a disappointment, very limited, not as advertised on OpenTable and no Restaurant Week menu offered. Contradiction, pizza joint/upscale??"

  • "This was our first visit. The initial service was very slow, beginning at the host stand where we had a long wait before being acknowledged. We were disappointed that the dinner menu was very short, probably because this is a golf club restaurant and golf season had not begun. The shrimp cocktail was very good and our filet mignon came cooked as requested and was delicious. We did not try the fire-baked pizza but it looked very good. We will return to the Fireplace Room at the International again, perhaps to try those pizzas!"

We ALWAYS order the caramelized onion and bacon pizza... To swoon over. They can mix great martinis, ice cold. But if you crave wine - their list will deliver. December will be a no table month - they are packed with parties. When the holidays are over, and the snow covers the green... go for some drinks and pizza and relax with a tranquil and scenic view."

A table by the fire in winter or a stunning view of the golf course on the deck in summer. This place is heaven on earth for foodies who want to escape the chaos and hastle of the city or Rt 9 metro-west-mania. We haunt the place as often as we can. Cannot believe more people haven't discovered it yet. Music can sometimes be more 'forward' than 'background', but they play current/hip alternative hits, which is a nice change of pace from restaurant muzak...You simply must try this place!!"

We did not sit outside but in warmer months they have beautiful outdoor seating overlooking a lovely course and foliage. It's a hidden gem in Bolton, MA, great pit stop for us after visiting the Nashoba Valley Winery since their restaurant was completely booked."

We are stuck on their take on BLT, which is really a crafty sandwich, flavorful and hearty- crispy sourdough, housemade aioli with capers, avocado, perfect bacon and watercress... Buck a shuck was a huge success with my house hold, can't wait for next season. Menu can be pricy but if you know how to order, you will be so pleased - not that the food isnt worth it. Some hits and misses but overall, a wonderful dining experience in a beautiful New England Bucolic setting."

Boston has good places, but there are times we crave excellent food and service in a peaceful setting and not deal with driving, parking etc. This is a hidden gem - never a wait. The chef is creative and the food is top notch. Scallops and steaks are amazing. Wine list is 'ok' but the mixed drinks are innovative and fun to try. Service staff make you feel like you are their friend. They really CARE about the place - they seem invested in the success of the business, so things are done right. If the weather is nice, sit on the deck overlooking majestic pines and the golf course. Spectacular!"

  • "The server was young and not trained. Asked if we wanted to pay by credit card or cash, all so it could save him a trip (i.e. have to bring bill to us then collect payment and return with slip to sign or to bring back the change). We told him credit and foolishly gave him our credit cards before we even looked at the bill. He returned and realized he had charged the lunches on the wrong credit cards so we said, "Let's just start over, please bring us our bill, let us review, and then place our chosen form of payment in the folder." He then did same, voiding our credit card charges. Very clunky and unprofessional."

  • "After reading all the raves we were ready for a fairly expensive fine dining "experience". Alas, that was not the case. The Amuse Bouche was not amusing. It was a mash-up of anchovies and olives that could turn one off salt forever. My husband's $29 steak was tasty. But my veal chop was a disaster. A huge slab of heavily (not lightly as advertised) breaded tasteless, chewy and unevenly cooked meat was topped with a tomato salad (see tomato chunks, some sprigs of watercress and random slivers of reggiono cheese--undressed) splayed across the unappetizing expanse of breading. I would not have minded the $38 price tag if the dish had been worth it. The $6 side of grilled asparagus was tasty, thank heavens. Dessert was good; the wine marvelous."

  • "The highlight of our meal was the panoramic, expansive view of the golf course and hills. The food was also very good. Went here for their Mother's Day Brunch special that was open to the public. It was a three course prix fixe menu with 2-3 choices for each course. At 22.95/person, we were a little concerned about what the portion sizes would be, but our meals were more than adequate size. The salad was fresh with just the right amount of citrus vinaigrette dressing. My main course was a chicken/parmesan fries dish that was very homey and satisfying. The steak and eggs had a surprisingly good size steak that could be cut with a butter knife. Nice setting, good meal, and very reasonable price compared to other MD brunches."

  • "We were really disappointed. Went for my wife's birthday and mother's day celebration dinner, and mentioned such in the reservation and when I checked in. Looking at the menu online, and reading about the chef, we had high expectation. All of the employees seemed out of sync, as if they were new to the restaurant business. Our server seemed like her mind was elsewhere. People who came in after us got served first. For the prices on we expected better service. We don't mind paying $38 for a steak, but we expect good, solid service where we feel like the server is paying some attention to us. The food was good, but not the quality we expected for the prices. When we ordered dessert, they did not recognize my wife's birthday. Will not be back."
