  • "We had Easter dinner at the Farm House. The food and service were excellent. Thr rack of lamb was delicious as were the appetizers and beet salad. The chambord margarita was fabulous as well Will definitely go back."

  • "Our party of four enjoyed the dinner we had at the Farmhouse. The service was good and the food was served attractively and at the right temperature. It is a cozy restaurant next to the Skippack golf course. The dining room is small and the setting is cozy. The rack of lamb and the lump crab meat is very good. I also recommend the red beat salad. We've been to this restaurant before and will go back again."

  • "have never been here recommended by a friend. Had trout special husband had crab cakes they were both excellent and the service was also. We will return!!"

  • "Tucked away yet easy to find The Farm House was a hidden gem. Away from the business of the city yet with the same quality food a place to go."
    Dined on 4/12/2014
  • "Friendly service, convenient location, reasonable prices. Disappointing wine list and a pedestrian menu but what they do make is good (except for the meatloaf)."
    Dined on 4/6/2014
  • "Had a great time, 2 couples, good food & service. Salads were good & fresh. Salmon was delicious, perfectly cooked. Others had meatloaf, scallops and crab cake, all good. Dessert was delicious but over ate!"
    Dined on 4/5/2014
  • "The food was so/so and the portions generally VERY small. Everything ala carte. Were not offered a "sandwich menu " although there clearly was one and we may have had a different experinece if we had ordered sandwhices and salads. Will try again outdoors off sandwich menu"

  • "We had a delightful dining experience with our close neighbors and good friends. Great food, and and a good time was had by all!"

  • "Saturday night was truly a treat at the Farm House Restaurant. The food was excellent but we couldn't say enough about how Shirley handled the entire meal. She made sure our wines came with the entree, she was conversant on the entrees and the wine and she was just so incredibly pleasant."
    Dined on 3/29/2014
  • "An unexpected evening that offered notably friendly service, well prepared food and chilled glasses filled with cold beer. Outdoor dining and energetic Friday evenings sound luring."
    Dined on 3/26/2014
  • "Just an average restaurant. We will most likely not go there again."
    Dined on 3/22/2014
  • "It was our first time there and did not know what to expect. Our party of four was pleasantly surprised. I had the rack of lamb and thoroughly enjoyed it. I plan in going back again."
    Dined on 3/22/2014
  • "This old home sits on the bank of the Skippack Creek and has a beautiful view both inside and out. It has been beautifully renovated. The food is WONDERFUL for both guest or golfer."
    Dined on 3/14/2014
  • "My husband tried the soup special which was very favorful with nice consistency. I had the trout special - 3 pieces of moist trout over whipped potatoes. Only off part of this really enjoyable meal was the apple pie dessert that had few apples and little flavor."
    Dined on 3/8/2014
  • "The Farm House has become our favorite place to dine. It is small (please keep it this way!), quiet, and the food is always delicious."
    Dined on 2/14/2014
  • "The food, service, and atmosphere are incredible. My salmon was one of the best dinners I've had in a long time and it was probably out done by my wife's KC strip steak."
    Dined on 3/8/2014
  • "Pleasant experience muted by presence of extremely (emphasis) loud patrons. Not restaurant's fault but structure not able to suppress noise."
    Dined on 3/7/2014
  • "this was our first time at this restaurant. the food was pretty good. the only complaint was the noise level. my husband and i could not hear each other across the table. it was extremely loud for such a small place. Will probably go back. maybe in summer when we can sit outside."

  • "Went here for our anniversary and loved the antique country charm. Our waitress and bartender were wonderful and friendly. We enjoyed our meals and beverages and would definitely return."

  • "We had a party of 8. The food was great and our waitress was superb! We will be returning."

  • "This is a very relaxing restaurant. Country setting, upscale casual. Beautiful view, outside summer dining. Informal, varied, low key entertainment, (you can still carry on a conversation with fellow diners). Very comfortable, friendly, but professional service. Always a good time."
    Dined on 2/28/2014
  • "Food was fantastic. Except for my crab cake, which was average."
    Dined on 2/22/2014
  • "Food very well prepared, server had to run to the kitchen to ask the chef basic questions about the dishes numerous times during the order taking process. Server was never trained on how to open and serve a bottle of wine. Server should never embarrass a guest by asking if they need change when taking the check, "i'll be right back with your change" should be the proper response. Giving the keys to the car to someone that cant drive will only lead to disaster. Potential to be a great restaurant with proper staff training."

  • "Was here for valentines day. Yhe food was great. The service was great. Only issue was the reservation seemed to not matter as there was an initial 15min wait after reservation time. Cute place with a good wine selection!"
    Dined on 2/14/2014
  • "Lovely place to visit. Nice for a romantic dinner or dinner with friends. Very friendly, helpful waitstaff. You feel as if you are in someone's home dining in their dining room. There is also a large bar area separate from the dining room."
    Dined on 2/8/2014
  • "The rack of lamb was fantastic, others in the party were satisfied with choices but not overwhelmed (salmon, meatloaf). Not a great deal of selection, but overall interesting options."
    Dined on 2/1/2014
  • "We went with another couple for lunch and it was very good. Crab Cake sandwich was very good, so was the Hamberger and the Salmon wrap."
    Dined on 1/23/2014
  • "We were just there for brunch and it was terrific. Eggs benedict were very good."
    Dined on 1/19/2014
  • "My husband and I wanted to try someplace new to us and we were very happy with our selection. The Farm House Restaurant was so quaint and cozy on a cold winter evening. The food was delicious and the service was great. And oh, my French martini was wonderful!"
    Dined on 1/18/2014
  • "My wife and I enjoyed our appetizers, vegetables and bananas foster but our flounder special was not so special. When we mentioned it to our server, she removed our plates and offered us substitute dinners. She also was apologetic and informed us that the special would be removed from the check and the flounder would be removed from the menu. The situation was handled properly and since my wife and I had enjoyed our previous visits, we will return for dinner."
    Dined on 1/18/2014
  • "Salad options are limited, but they were accommodating in modifying a salad to suit our taste. The Salmon was good (just a tad dry) but our waitress was cordial at best. She did a good job but we felt like she was doing us a favor."
    Dined on 1/11/2014
  • "Friendly staff. Good variety of appetizers, entrees and desserts. A great Bloody Mary."
    Dined on 1/10/2014
  • "Food and service is always consistent. This is our go to spot. Weather you are sitting at the bar or in the dining room we always enjoy the Farm House and everyone that work there."
    Dined on 1/3/2014
  • "The Farmhouse is a small venue that provides for a warm and intimate setting with great service. The menu is full with well presented and delicious appetizers and entrees, all reasonably priced. It is a favorite place for my family and friends."
    Dined on 12/31/2013
  • "For some unknown reasons, the menu of the evening was a lesser menu available on their website. There weren't that many items to choose from; no poultry at all. The waitress was friendly. But she did not tell us about the drinks special of the night. (We heard the specials were offered to guests at other tables.)"
    Dined on 12/31/2013
  • "We were excited to try this restaurant based on their menu on the website. When we get there, the menu had a third of the options listed online. At first I thought it may be a daily or weekly special, but then I noticed the menu was laminated. Pretty disappointing. Had we known, we would have chosen to eat elsewhere."

  • "Our dinner was a delightful experience. We were exhausted from preparing for the holidays and just wanted to be waited on for an hour. Our server was extremely pleasant and attentive, and the dinner was delicious."
    Dined on 12/23/2013
  • "First time here and we will be back. Travis the bartender and our waitress Dina were great. The food was excellent. A hidden gem for sure!!!"

  • "Butternut squash soup was watery. Apps., and salads were very good. Desserts were excellent. The best entrees were the meatloaf. Great for the price. My husbands shortribs were just OK. I ordered the lump crabmeat dinner for $30.00 and got flaky crabmeat out of the body of the crab. I was picking out small pieces of shells throughout. I felt that I was taken. I did not get the meal that was advertised. Would not go back."

  • "It was a nice ride up Skippack Pike thru the more rural areas of Montco. Parking was a cinch and a short walk to the restaurant. The ambiance was plain, but warm and comfortable. Our server Julia was sweet and fairly attentive. The bartender who made a really delicious Bloody Mary for me is a knockout. Our shared appetizer of lightly grilled scallops was sublime. I would go back especially in the Spring and Summer evenings when the view and the outside patio can be enjoyed."
