For being on a golf course the restaurant was quaint, romantic and very quiet. Food was by far better than I ever would have expected, menu is somewhat limited but certainly worth trying. I wouldn't suggest this if you're just looking for a burger and a beer type of dinner though. They had wonderful apps that you can make into a meal which is exactly what I did. My husband had the braised short ribs, which were also very good but the polenta was a little bland. The freshly baked warm rolls are always a treat with the herbed butter. Have always had great meals here but our last visit was spoiled when two of our group got the shrimp/fusilli special. They rated it fair..tasteless...nothing spectacular. As the dining area filled up, it became a little noisier but not annoying. Friendly greeter and lovely restaurant. Seated by the fireplace and had calamari that was outstanding!! Glass of wine was only $5.00 a glass and tasty. Had the salmon and I'm sorry to say but it was kind of dry and potatoes were bland. The glazed carrots were great. My husband had the special which was pasta and shrimp. Pasta was a little hard and it too bland but not bad. Had an awesome waitress who was very attentive. Overall me and my husband enjoyed ourself. They called us back to explain that the dining area was all booked but they could accomodate us in the bar area where they have high top tables. So we accepted to eat in the bar area which turned out to be very nice with a fireplace. Our wine bottle of Pio was fairly priced at $20.00 and the Lambchopp appetizer was delicious as were our soups and fresh baked roll, the server was very attentive and the meals were served in good time. Especially since they were hosting another event, The duck that I had ordered was great and very tender and moist. I would recommend this restaurant. Great food! So happy to now have an alternative to The Parc Bistro in Skippack. They have a good martini menu and great food in a cozy, rustic farmhouse setting. Serves comfort food like meatloaf as well as traditional fare (steak, seafood, etc.).
