It is a great place to celebrate anything. We always feel that we get personal attention there and the service has always been great. The food is extraordinary. We are vegetarians and always have lots to choose from. The flavors and sauces are a holiday for your mouth! The food tastes very fresh too, which is important to us. The waitstaff was wonderful and very helpful. One of the diners was vegetarian and another a vegan. They were so pleased to have so many meals on the menu that they could enjoy. Food is always AMAZING. I melt into the spareribs. And the catfish is like nothing I've ever had. Service is always great. Ambiance is very low-key and charming. The atmosphere was comfortable, intimate and yet lively at the same time. Our waiter politely answered all of our questions about the menu. Four of us showed up on a Friday night and there was already a wait, but we were taken right in. The food was delicious. Our waitress was upbeat, happy to explain anything and we were never kept waiting. There is not a lot of ambience and it's not a large place, but you don't miss it. I asked for a quieter corner so we could have a conversation without yelling, and we had a nice little nook by a window (a bit chilly) and the bar. The waitress, Audrey, was fantastic - down to earth friendly, informative about menu options, great service. The food was interesting, delicious, my shrimp dish could have been served at a warmer temperature. Vegetarian spring rolls were the best I have ever tasted! Between those and the superb mini-baguettes and butter, I was already very happy. I had a ginger lemon martini - also very good. The duck appetizer was fabulous and quite enough for a dinner serving.
