Service was excellent right from the front door till we left. Mixed drinks and wine list were top notch. My husband didn't get what he ordered, but he ate it anyhow, as he was hungry.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMMothers Day BrunchThe Eclectic has always been one of our favorite restaurants for a variety of reasons, so we booked a family gathering for Mothers Day. They did not let us down. Food was great and our waitress was top notch. I found it curious that their Mothers Day Brunch did not include champagne like their normal brunches do, but the add was a fair one price-wise. I noticed it appears the restaurant is changing owners. I hope the new ones present the same level of good food and service. It is imposable for me to chose from all the MAGNIFICENT appetizers. So I get three (3) or four (4) and then usually take some of my dinner home. On this occasion since I was alone I made a meal out of JUST appetizers. WONDERFUL!!!
The service is TERRIFIC!! DELIGHTFUL STAFF!! They are attentive without being hovering. Worn & Friendly. The bar tender had the GREATEST scene of HUMOR which always enhance the meal.
The Eclectic is in the middle of The Theater area of North Hollywood so is a LOVELY place to eat and only park once. Food was outstanding and so much to choose from it was very hard to decide. the soup of the day, a tomato basil was rich and creamy. Had the steak salad which was amazing. Shared the chocolate fondue which had the best melted chocolate either of us had ever tasted. This was a perfect place before theater in this North Hollywood area. They do have valet in the back which is very important because street parking is almost non existent. Highly recommend and we cannot wait to go back.
