The Dutch MiamiGreat FoodI'm still confused as to why this restaurant isn't more popular. The food is amazing and the service is top notch. One of the better restaurants with respect to quality of food in Miami. Also the ambiance and service is great too. Only downside is it's a bit on the pricey side.6/10/2013 12:00:00 AMgood food, great sceneFood was solid albeit slightly limited in selection. Service was excellent as was the ambiance. Special thanks to the chef for taking the time to prepare my husbands red snapper to his liking.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat Food and Great AtmosphereWe had dinner there on a Friday night and while it wasn't super busy, it did fill up soon after we arrived (8:30 reservation). We chose the skirt steak and the lamb pasta dish for our mains and both were excellent. And the in-season stone crab claw as an app was perfect. Would definitely go back.5/10/2013 12:00:00 AMDown home on SoBeLocated adjacent to the W Hotel Living Room, The Dutch delivers quality American style food - not low brow but fun riffs on down home cookin'. Try a Perfect Storm cocktail to start and then move on to a good wine list. Helpful service directed us to great oysters, and a terrific mahi entree. Desserts were good, and the salted caramel sorbet knocked us out. The only problem was the outrageous tab! Sort of a buzz buster. Be careful. But have fun.5/3/2013 12:00:00 AMDelicious and funWe dined at The Dutch based on a recommendation from Chef Aaron Sanchez from Food Network. The Dutch combines an energetic, casual atmosphere with delicious, creative food and outstanding service. The whole vibe is decidedly laid back. The server described dishes in detail and was very attentive. We started with a watermelon cocktail that was fabulous. We then had three dishes. The first was a spicy watermelon and yellowfin hamachi. The watermelon had been marinated in chili water so it took on a spicy, juicy character. This is a dish I would return for over and over. The next dish was lamb belly over couscous. Wow. I love the flavor of lamb and never really encountered lamb belly, which has the texture of a pork belly but the flavor of a b4/11/2013 12:00:00 AMHot SpotLove this Chef, he is so creative, and his dishes are original and excellent!!

Would definitely go back next time in Miami. My son raved about the Banana Cream Pie.3/23/2013 12:00:00 AMVery friendly server, niceVery friendly server, nice ambiance. Pricey, but all the food was delicious.3/17/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat dinner, great service!I would recommend this restaurant without hesitation. Bismark was our waiter - ask to be at one of his tables. Service was impeccable, gracious, knowledgeable and contributed greatly to a wonderful experience. Oysters were fantastic. We preferred the Kusshi oysters to the Tottens as the Totten had a minerally finish (which Bismark told us about). I also had the steamed red snapper, which was light, delicate and cooked to perfection. We finished with ice creams and sorbets. The sorbets, especially coconut, were some of the best my wife had ever had - comparable to what she had in Italy. Great experience! I would recommend an early reservation, ours was 6:30, before the rush, and the servers had time to really give great service.3/13/2013 12:00:00 AMFood was good. I had the lobsterFood was good. Food was pretty good. Burger was great as usual. Korean Beef Tacos and Mussels in Red Curry were just OK. Banana Cream Pie was fantastic. Service was very friendly albeit a bit sluggish and harried all at the wrong times. Hey, it's Miami!!! Not as good as the one in NY.12/7/2012 12:00:00 AMSouth Beach BestNick Abuabara is a great sommelier - his recommendation from the pre-dinner cocktails to wine with dinner and appretifs, where amazing.
