"The best thing about this place is the place itself. The view and the whole ambiance is pretty cool. The food is fine, though perhaps a bit overpriced for what it is. Our waiter was verny nice, but they were short staff and the service was slow. This was our prior experience as well. If you are on vacation and not in a rush it would be a reasonable choice. Very family friendly set up."

"Ambiance and views were great, appetizer soup was great, but entree specials were really not good. When we told the waitress we didn't like out food, she really didn't seem to care. A very disappointing experience."

"Went to the Dredge with my husband and two of my sons. It was... meh. My boys and my husband gave it a solid 4 for food and a 3.5 for service. I would have given it a 4 for service and a 3.5 for food. I got the crab legs and they were delicious, but the soup of the day was awful. The boys loved the bread. I had a cocktail that was just okay and a glass of pinot grigio that was lovely. The bill felt hefty for the fare. I likely wouldn't go back."

"The Dredge was our best meal in Breck....Open Table scored us a quick reservation, but the Dredge delivered on all the promises...a good bar with plenty of beer and top shelf selection, and superb food in an elegant style....Presentation was beautiful and the tastes in our stuffed trout were awesome. You wouldn't think you get great seafood so far from the ocean. Can't think of anything bad to say, can't wait to be a back at Breck again...the Dredge is now on the "list""

"We had high hopes for this place because of its history in Breckenridge and what looked to be a varied menu. Sadly it did not live up to expectations. They were out of many beers on the list and neglected to tell us, we waited for bread, our server talked way to much and offered up way to much about her life. We went to eat not make friends. The food was mediocre at best and that is being generous, and way over priced. Food came to the table maybe just warm. The elk tenterloin looked like it had been cooked to a nice gray and the flank steak was under whelming. Avoid at all costs, the wait at the breckenridge brewery was well worth it. Atleast they have all the beers that are on their menu."

"Excellent place for dinner once you find it. Both openTable and GoogleMap locate the restaurant at the wrong place. Just ask for directions as everyone knows the place.
OpenTable list this restaurant as $$ which is not a fair representation. This is at least $$$.

The food is excellent and the atmosphere very nice. All dishes are very copious amd come with soup or salad. Skip the appetisers unless you are particularly hungry."

"Didn't know what to expect as we booked purely on table time availability and have to say very pleasantly surprised. The salad and trout dish we had were both very good.
Would recommend to anyone seeking good food in a relaxed environment."

"Food and service were great. However, my girlfriend and I got stuck at a two person table that they just put against a wall for more seating when it didn't really fit. The wait staff at our table and other tables were running into each other and us because it was too tight of a space."
