The Dining Room at Salish Lodge & SpaAwesome. My wife and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary in the dining room at the Salish Lodge. Our experience was nothing short of awesome. We enjoyed every dish that came to our table and savored each bite. We will be back!6/13/2013 12:00:00 AMSpecial brunchThis brunch was one of the highlights of our recent trip to Seattle. In a region of excellent food and great scenery the brunch and falls at Salish stood out. Make sure to have the single serve coffee and chocolate pot, and the salmon skillet is superb.6/9/2013 12:00:00 AMNature and NurtureWhat could be better than a delicious meal in a fabulous setting! The Salish Lodge provided just that. The brunch menu is wonderful. Our party enjoyed custom omelets, honey biscuits, lavender brioche french toast and eggs poached to perfection. The citrus sparklers were a festive way to start. We ended with a mouth watering hot chocolate pot which is prepared table-side. Enjoy!!6/9/2013 12:00:00 AM51st AnniversaryWe could not have picked a better place for our 51st Anniversary dinner. Spectacular!6/9/2013 12:00:00 AMOutstanding BrunchWe went for a birthday celebration and requested a window view which was readily granted. The staff was extremely pleasant and the food was delicious. One in our party had the salmon omelette, another the Belgium waffles, another the Salish breakfast (eggs and potatoes which were scrumptious!) and the short stack. Everyone raved about their selection - lots of food and all very tasty. We also had Bloody Marys and those were delicious, too. All in all, a very enjoyable experience. We will definitely be back.6/7/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat spot for special occasion! We have always loved the Salish but it was especially perfect to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. we had a lovely private table for dinner, the sous chef and our waiter were so attentive and the food was fabulous! The 4 course country breakfast was part of our lodging package and was the most amazing thing i've ever seen (or eaten). i wouldn't do it again as it was just too much food but it is so rare that we sit over a leisurely breakfast that the experience was wonderful.5/29/2013 12:00:00 AMBeautiful View, Great Food.Worth the trip to Snoqualmie Falls and breakfast at the Salish Lodge. The hot chocolate was phenomenal!!! Great food. Excellent service. Book online in advance to assure a great table by the window so you can enjoy the falls while you eat. Take a walk after your meal and see the falls from outside. Just 30-40 minutes from Seattle.5/26/2013 12:00:00 AMAnniversary with friends. Our service was excellent and we were lucky enough to be seated at a window. However we mentioned it was our anniversary when asked if it was a special occasion, but nothing further was said or done. The potatoes with the eggs benidict were on the dry side but everything else was wonderful. We truely felt relaxed and welcomed. The pot of hot chocolate was to die for!5/25/2013 12:00:00 AMWindow seatWe had made resos weeks in advance and had requested a window seat with a view of the falls. We were disappointed that we were unable to get one.5/24/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat ExperienceFriendly service from the second you walk in. Food was fantastic with really great coffee. Not an inexpensive outing, but certainly a real treat.5/19/2013 12:00:00 AMThank you!Thank you Lyndsay for helping me start my anniversary out on such an amazing note!5/19/2013 12:00:00 AMBirthday dinnerIt was so enjoyable! Truly a memorable meal. Even had a birthday special , thank you so much!5/18/2013 12:00:00 AMDelightful EveningHad a delightful evening. Food was excellent and well presented. Atmosphere is nice but not fantastic. We did not have window table, so we did not have one of the beautiful views of the falls. Service was spotty: a bit slow; server failed to tell us about daily special; we had to ask about lead time for ordering dessert souffle; had to ask several times for more bread and butter.5/18/2013 12:00:00 AMVery Romantic! We lucked out and got the best table in the restaurant, a private room overlooking the falls. The view was spectacular. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary, so the table made it really special. The food was good but the salad was drenched in too much dressing, the main course was too salty (we both had the halibut), and we didn't find any of the desserts appealing. The service was fine, but mid-way through our meal, a different waiter came in and explained that we were in his section and he would be taking our table from the previous waiter. Well, we never saw him again. Our original server finished serving us. Strange.5/18/2013 12:00:00 AMDinner at Salish Lodge and SpaI ordered the Steelhead and my wife ordered the steak. The steelhead was very good with the pea soup mix. The mushrooms were outstanding and the side of aspargus were really good. I had a taste of my wife's steak. We could cut it with our butter knife. The taste was great and seasonings were just right.
The food's temperature was just right as well, not to hot or cold. I would recommend this place for people not in a hurry. This is a great place to take your time and unwind. The location is in a good spot as well.5/16/2013 12:00:00 AMReal PleasedI took a friend and her son for a Mother's Day Lunch and all had a great time.
Wonderful Experience!!!5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMAnniversary DinnerOur first time at the Salish Lodge and the highlight of our stay was the fabulous dinner. The beet salad was to die for and we enjoyed the view. Service was exceptional and we had a wonderful romantic dinner - would definitely recommend for a fine dining experience.5/9/2013 12:00:00 AMnew Chef is awesome! We've always enjoyed the food here, but this visit it was the best yet. Wow. And our server Sandy did an excellent job for my birthday.5/7/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat food, great view!We have diner here a few times and always have a great experience. The food is very good and fresh and the view cannot be beat. Service was excellent and very professional. I would highly recommend!5/5/2013 12:00:00 AMThe food and ambiance andThe food and ambiance and setting were excellent for Sunday Brunch. We made a 1:15pm reservation, and requested a table by the window. After we checked in, the seating agent said it would be 10 minutes and we checked in after that time frame and were told it would be ready shortly....after about 20 minutes more, we noticed people who had been coming in after us were getting seated by the windows, so we went back and a new seating agent looked at his monitor and asked if we checked in....the seating agents really need to get their act together.5/5/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat for entertaining visitorsI took my girlfriend who flew in from LA out of the city into the panoramic scenes of the mountains just an hour from Seattle. I told her that we would be eating at the Salish Lodge at Snoqualmie. She did not know it would be so beautiful a destination. She was thrilled with the lodge, the falls, the woods, and the excellent brunch served in the dining room. It was a perfect way to introduce her to the Northwest. We walked after the lunch to the viewpoint to look at Snoqualmie falls.
I will take all my visitors from outside the Northwest up to the Salish Lodge for dining. It is close enough to Seattle to be convenient and far enough to be a getaway destination.5/5/2013 12:00:00 AMWonderful SettingWe had a seat right next to the window and the waterfall. It was a gorgeous day and rainbows kept showing up in the mist. The food was good and the staff was friendly, even though we had our 2 and 4 year olds with us. There was supposed to be tea or coffee with my meal, which never showed up, but everything else was great and they even boxed up some of the extra food, since the buffet included a huge amount of food.5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMWe were celebrating my birthdayWe were celebrating my birthday with breakfast at Salish Lodge. There were just two of us. We had a nice view by the window and also two rainbows to look out at. The waitress was warm and friendly, chatty. Food was great! Lisa, the waitress after our meal brought a chocolate truffle with sprinkles on a white plate where she had written in chocolate "Happy Birthday". This was a very nice surprise.5/2/2013 12:00:00 AMIf you like intimate places to eatWe were lucky enough to get the little room all to itself overlooking the falls. It was a great view and we felt very special having the room all to ourselves. We had the four course breakfast, which was very good, but it's quite an extravagant meal, and I felt the meager and sour fruits they gave should be improved upon, and the biscuits were hard and dry. Also, that is not devonshire cream. Other than those comments, we very much enjoyed the pastries, oatmeal w/chutney, the main entree was delicious, and the honey from heaven was delicious, but initially forgotten by the waitperson and had to be delivered after asking.5/2/2013 12:00:00 AMGemDon't know why I waited all these years to visit. We sat next to a window and the view was amazing. We loved every course and want to go back and try more. The staff was very attentive and made the evening wonderful.4/26/2013 12:00:00 AMHad a fantastic evening.Had a fantastic evening. A wonderful place to take her, especially if she likes waterfalls. ...You may be able to save a little coin, and get a better view from the "attic" bar up above the restaurant... *hint* *hint*. Food is amazing and the ambiance is stunning as well. Service was great.4/24/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat way to celebrate ourGreat way to celebrate our anniversary. Lisa was a wonderful waitstaff who provided terrific service. She also surprised us by packaging up some of their delicious strawberry jam to take home.
We enjoy going to the Salish Lodge for breakfast (which we do often)--a great little get away from Seattle. The view of the falls is wonderful.4/24/2013 12:00:00 AMAtmosphere was very relaxing,Atmosphere was very relaxing, service was impeccable and friendly. Food was a wonderful experience and very flavorful.4/24/2013 12:00:00 AMAt the Salish Lodge diningroomAt the Salish Lodge diningroom we had a table in a cove all by itself looking out over Snoqualmie Falls. The waiter was very knowledgable and made a couple of suggestions as to what was on the menu. He was also very courteous and came around a number of times to see how dinner was. As for the meal, it was absolutely top notch. The flavors were rich and well balanced, the wine list was extensive. We ended up spending two hours at dinner and enjoyed every minute of it.4/22/2013 12:00:00 AMFood was excellent, serviceFood was excellent, service even better, atmosphere casual. Thanks for the great time, can't wait to come back. Wife loved everything, as they say "happy wife happy life!"4/21/2013 12:00:00 AMA Special way to enjoy the raiWonderful venue with fantastic views. Excellent food and the quiet atmosphere which was appropriate for the setting. Service was good but server attitude was reserved to the point of being slightly haughty. Would have liked some healthier items on the menu. Loved the coffee service with chocolate and whip cream4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMMy wife and I had a awesomeMy wife and I had a awesome and memorable experience.4/17/2013 12:00:00 AMFantastic food and service.Fantastic food and service. Olivia was our server--she was very knowledgable, pleasant, efficient and non-intrusive.
This is a marvelous place to make a special memory and enjoy world class cuisine....4/15/2013 12:00:00 AMI don't like french toast,I don't like french toast, but it was TO DIE FOR! I trie my mom's and wished that I had ordered my own... chef serves it with house made orange marmalade, sugared hazelnuts, cinnamon whipped cream and the topper - a wedge of lime! REMARKABLE. The table side pour over coffee option was fantastic addition to the experience.
I had taken my parents as a part of their joint 75th birthday celebration. I had asked for a window table but when I called to confirm, I was told they didn't reserve window seats, though there was one in a private little room for a $50 fee. I declined and just hoped for the best upon arrival. The lovely hostess seated us in just that little room, "the best seat in the house" in honor of the celebration. Table #5!4/9/2013 12:00:00 AMOne of the most memorable mealsthere are not many places you can go where the meal ends up being one of the most memorable of your life. This is one of those places. This year was excellent as usual. We weren't hungry enough for the country breakfast, so we had the salmon hash, and eggs benedict, and both were excellent.4/1/2013 12:00:00 AMPerfect for a romantic getaway!Perfect for a romantic getaway! Service was outstanding!3/29/2013 12:00:00 AMWhy is it always a chore toWhy is it always a chore to order a steak that is cooked. I requested my steak to be cooked "medium" (a little pink in the middle) and it came back with the surface browned and the rest practically raw-red. After it was returned the steak was over cooked, medium well. Go figure. The quality of the stake was excellent but the person behind the grill needs a few lessons. The rest of the meal was excellent as was the steak once it was finally cooked albet over cooked.3/27/2013 12:00:00 AMwe enjoyed our stay. dinnerwe enjoyed our stay. dinner was wonderful, nice to find a restaurant that actually cooks! the omelet I had for breakfast was wonderful! The food is good and the view is great.3/22/2013 12:00:00 AMAlways a pleasureWe have dined at the Salish many times and have seldom seen a wrong note. The food is uniformly excellent, the service is nearly always impeccable (one brunch was the exception) and of course the view is unparalleled. It is a great place to take out of town guests, I don't thing anyone will be disappointed. Except Uncle Bob who always complains when food costs more than it does at Denny's.3/20/2013 12:00:00 AMMmmmmm Brunch!!This was our 3rd brunch at the Salish lodge and it was amazing as usual! Our waitress was very attentive, sweet and funny. The food was incredible! I had the eggs Benedict, I don't usually like ham but it was deeelicious!! My favorite part is all the fixins that come with coffee, especially the organic fresh whipped cream. We will be back!3/17/2013 12:00:00 AMThe staff and service wasThe staff and service was great!
