We reserved a table on OpenTable and mentioned that it was for an anniversary celebration. We were pleasantly surprised to be seated in a private room with a great view. Food was great and the honey was yummy. The only black spot was the dirty food on the carpet under the table. But the overall experience was great and we will be back.

Service was slow and inconsistent. No specials. My lamb was almost flavorless and certainly did not taste like lamb. Entree was served in a bowl for no apparent reason and made it difficult to eat. My wife's beef tenderloin was properly cooked and she liked it. The wine list is unexceptional for a restaurant like this. There is no compelling reason to recommend the Dining Room at Salish Lodge.

The falls are what initially drew me to this restaurant. I had only heard about it from other people but never experienced it myself. I chose this for my 23rd birthday dinner last Saturday at 5pm. As a person who loves food but isn't accustomed to fine dining, I could appreciate the patience and understanding everyone had with questions about the menu. Nearly everything was foreign to me but our waiters didn't make me feel uncomfortable at all, they were absolutely friendly and helpful. Yes I'm a fine food novice, but I was terribly satisfied with the service, sceneny, and meal itself. I would recommend it to anyone I know. Two thumbs up. (Try the roasted halibut, if you like fish, it was perfect)

Pros: we were sat by the greeter (Thanks, Tiana!) at Table 5. Great anniversary treat. A private dining nook with panoramic views of the falls and foliage. Cons: Flustered/busy, yet friendly server; under cooked biscuits; slow coffee refills. I let the server know the fresh biscuits weren't cooked. It would take a while for them to finish cooking; we didn't wait. She didn't charge us for the biscuits and gave us 20% off for the rocky service. Which was super nice of her. But still, you go to a place like Salish, and expect so much better. I will chock this experience up to a fluke. I fell in love with Salish and their brunch three years ago when my husband and I honeymooned there at the Lodge. We've honeymooned there ever since.

Thanks to the Salish Lodge for great service, beautiful views, and, of course, amazing food. My wife and I made reservations for brunch and splurged on the 4-course breakfast. Every course was better than the next and we enjoyed eating and relaxing over the hour and a half meal. We'll definitely be back.

My husband and I had seen Snoqualmie Falls before, and had read about the signature Lodge Breakfast online, but we were pleasantly surprised by the experience. We had a lovely view, as requested in our Open Table reservation. Our server was so kind, professional, and attentive. She forewarned us that our meal (the Lodge Breakfast) would come in courses, so would take a while, and we were very happy with that since we were on a rare date morning out. The food was absolutely delicious and there was more than enough for us to eat; we were happy to take home leftovers for the next meal. The Honey from Heaven was amazing; I think I'll have to head back to buy some as a Christmas gift at the lodge store for my husband. We will definitely be back!

We were welcomed warmly and seated at a very quiet location by a window with a view of the Falls. Service was excellent as was the food. Fantastic tenderloin and 28 oz. rib-eye steak. I booked in advance and surprised my wife. The staff and Chef acknowledged the special occasion which made the evening that much better. So props to all them for making us feel very special. Most importantly, my wife was thrilled.

Over priced, tiny portions, poor technique. The $32 pasta was gummy and the cream sauce had seperated, my dining partners dinner was well presented but very bland. I also had a salad to start, beautiful market greens that were doused in a bitter dressing swamping any pleasure in eating them. Other diners around us were also not impressed with the food. Our server was good, he needs to take a basic wine course if he's going to handle such a large wine list or the restaurant neeeds to hire someone who knows what ther're talking about. I won't be going back.

Pun intended! We really enjoyed each aspect of our breakfast meals. The meats were cooked perfectly. The potatoes were not frozen and thrown on a grill. Real potatoes. The omelette was delicious, the biscuits were very good, and the eggs were cooked perfectly. We had a delightful time. Our servers were wonderful and engaging. We would definitely go back.

The service was excellent. The food was good. I think more could come with the salmon dish. Like asparagus and some rice would be good. It just seemed a little lacking of something. My husband's steak he said was very good. That salad I ordered was overpriced as were the drinks since they were quite small. We thought we would have a better view of the falls and so the view we were a little disappointed on. But again the service was very good.

After having a breakfast of large proportions (with prices to match) earlier in our stay at the Salish Lodge, we met old friends here for dinner, not knowing what to expect. My wife was relieved to see reasonable portions, artfully presented. The prices are still steep, but her salmon and my halilbut were delicious with excellent accompaniments. My old service buddy also enjoyed the salmon, and his wife was content with the scallops appetizer. The wine list is extensive and well organized. Kudos to the Salish for offering a good selection of half bottles. The service was excellent, non-intrusive but well-paced. We finished a lovely evening by splurging on tasty desserts and pour-over coffees.

We were staying at the Salish Lodge, so it only made sense to eat at one of the two restaurants on site. We made a reservation for our dinner, but be sure to make a brunch reservation for Sunday mornings too, we had no trouble getting a table on Saturday for brunch, but Sunday they were booked solid! Brunch was fantastic, but huge portions. We had leftovers for our breakfast the next day. Dinner was really nice too, we weren't super hungry so we each got a salad (the beet salad was really interesting and good!) and split an appetizer (but beware, the appetizers are tiny), and then each got a desert. We managed to time our reservation so the sun was setting not long after we sat down, which was a nice surprise. Get a window table if you can!

We have been regular customers at the Salish Lodge Dining room and I'm sad to say that over the year the place has lost what set it apart from the average restaurant. While the food was good (not fabulous as it used to be) the service was below average and the small touches this restaurant used to do (tableclothes, high end wine glasses, the river rock stones) have all gone by the wayside. It is still a great view restaurant and the food pretty good but not worth what paid for in my opinion.

I've been to lots of brunch spots in Seattle. Salish Lodge is certainly one of the best. The eggs Benedict were lovely. Served with wonderful, crispy small white potatoes. The pancakes were event better. Light, fluffy and served the maple syrup, honey butter and blubbery compote. The waitress never let our coffee cups get low. The service is as good as the food.

We pulled in to the lodge and used the valet parking, which was quite easy. The dining room is just steps away from the main entry way so it was an easy walk for my elderly mother. We were a little bit early, but were shown to our table right away. They put us in a lovely, private, little room with a beautiful view of the forest and river below. We ordered the Caesar salad with crab. My mom ordered a glass of their red blend and I ordered a glass of Sauvignon Blanc. The salads were perfectly dressed and the crab fresh and delicious. When we finished lunch they brought my Mom a tiny piece of delicious cake with Happy Birthday on it. We will definitely go back again.

Belgian Waffle, with nothing on the side..17 bux? Bland flavor, and tasteless maple syrup. The honey on the table was better than the cinnamon whip cream or maple syrup. Biscuits and gravy was heavy and made with beef not sausage. Biscuits are tasty, but the rest I could skip. Wont do brunch again. Ill try dinner perhaps, but not rushing back. Take the hike to the falls instead..
