We went here for restaurant week. Great food and service but the restaurant itself was very cold, we were freezing thru the whole dinner. I don't know if that is how they normally keep the temperature but I don't like shivering when I am eating.

The Salish Lodge Dining Room serves a superb Country Breakfast. The four course meal takes 90- minutes to serve and consume. You won't want to eat anything else for the rest of the day. Afterwards, take a walk along the paved cliff sidewalk for spectacular views of Snoqualmie Falls.

If you are staying at the Salish Lodge and Spa, enhance your experience by having a romantic dinner, sitting either in front of the fire or at at a table overlooking the falls. The food was excellent and so was the service. We returned the next morning for their huge multi course breakfast.

The Salish Lodge offers an exceptional dining experience. This is a top tier restaurant - we prefer it to Canlis or Palisade in the city. The food prices are also top tier, and the portions are small. We went were entertaining another couple and the bill came to $125/person, including wine and tip. This was our first experience with dinner at the Salish - we typically dine here for breakfast/brunch. This is the best breakfast venue in the Pacific Northwest. Not as expensive as dinner, but still pricey enough to save it for a special occasion. For either breakfast or dinner, you won't be disappointed with the Salish Lodge.

We don't eat meat or chicken, fish and veggie is fine. We had the only 2 meals on the menu we could have and overall they were okay. Considering the prices and the fine dining atmosphere, the food should have been better. Nice atmosphere, quiet and romantic. Great for a special occasion.

A co-worker recommended I try the Salish Lodge for my wife's birthday. I was very surprised by the elegance of the atmosphere, the quality of the food was absolutely amazing and the wait staff were very friendly and professional. The view of Snoqualmie Falls was breath taking as the sun was setting. Make sure to bring a camera. The dress code for the Dining Room is business/formal, so leave your jeans and flip-flops at home. The meal itself was a bit on the pricey side but well worth it. I would certainly recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet, romantic evening, with delicious food. Next time, I'll have to book a room at the Lodge to extend our stay.

An amazing restaurant with a beautiful view, delicious food and cocktails, and romantic atmosphere. Smaller private rooms are especially recommended. The service is good, however one of our guests was served a soup cooked with some beef broth, though he asked the waiter to double check to get a vegetarian version. This was very unprofessional.

The service was attentive, prompt and friendly but missing a bit of knowledge. The food was fine. Pork cheeks with parsnip mash instead of potatoes but fairly lackluster otherwise. The lamb was very good, an interesting and varied range of flavors. Carpaccio was ok. Given the price, every bite should have been delectable & it was good to fine. A request for a window seat was disregarded despite 2 other groups being assigned window seats within 10 minutes of our reservation. The bartender was friendly and great to talk with, but drinks were over priced. Gin martinis, manhattans & negronis were all shaken. An expensive beautiful meal is one of life's great joys and Salish Lodge is overpriced for the food an drink that is served.

We had great food, service and an overall experience. The steak was cooked perfect to our ask, and the wine expert helped us find a great pairing toward our likes! The waitress did just right with taking care of our needs without unnecessary interruptions; even chatted and took my jokes (or pretended to).

Staying at the lodge for a romantic getaway from San Diego. We were looking forward to a romantic dinner in the Dining Room. Our meals were delicious, Pork Cheeks and the special for the evening, Prosciutto wrapped Pork Loin. We were seated next to the fire, very nice as it was chilly. The website is slightly misleading as it shows the restaurant having more ambiance than it really has. Many diners were in lounge clothing and speaking loudly, ruining the ambiance. It would be nice to instill a dress code.

We reserved a table on OpenTable and mentioned that it was for an anniversary celebration. We were pleasantly surprised to be seated in a private room with a great view. Food was great and the honey was yummy. The only black spot was the dirty food on the carpet under the table. But the overall experience was great and we will be back.

Service was slow and inconsistent. No specials. My lamb was almost flavorless and certainly did not taste like lamb. Entree was served in a bowl for no apparent reason and made it difficult to eat. My wife's beef tenderloin was properly cooked and she liked it. The wine list is unexceptional for a restaurant like this. There is no compelling reason to recommend the Dining Room at Salish Lodge.

The falls are what initially drew me to this restaurant. I had only heard about it from other people but never experienced it myself. I chose this for my 23rd birthday dinner last Saturday at 5pm. As a person who loves food but isn't accustomed to fine dining, I could appreciate the patience and understanding everyone had with questions about the menu. Nearly everything was foreign to me but our waiters didn't make me feel uncomfortable at all, they were absolutely friendly and helpful. Yes I'm a fine food novice, but I was terribly satisfied with the service, sceneny, and meal itself. I would recommend it to anyone I know. Two thumbs up. (Try the roasted halibut, if you like fish, it was perfect)

Pros: we were sat by the greeter (Thanks, Tiana!) at Table 5. Great anniversary treat. A private dining nook with panoramic views of the falls and foliage. Cons: Flustered/busy, yet friendly server; under cooked biscuits; slow coffee refills. I let the server know the fresh biscuits weren't cooked. It would take a while for them to finish cooking; we didn't wait. She didn't charge us for the biscuits and gave us 20% off for the rocky service. Which was super nice of her. But still, you go to a place like Salish, and expect so much better. I will chock this experience up to a fluke. I fell in love with Salish and their brunch three years ago when my husband and I honeymooned there at the Lodge. We've honeymooned there ever since.

My husband and I had seen Snoqualmie Falls before, and had read about the signature Lodge Breakfast online, but we were pleasantly surprised by the experience. We had a lovely view, as requested in our Open Table reservation. Our server was so kind, professional, and attentive. She forewarned us that our meal (the Lodge Breakfast) would come in courses, so would take a while, and we were very happy with that since we were on a rare date morning out. The food was absolutely delicious and there was more than enough for us to eat; we were happy to take home leftovers for the next meal. The Honey from Heaven was amazing; I think I'll have to head back to buy some as a Christmas gift at the lodge store for my husband. We will definitely be back!
