  • "Pun intended! We really enjoyed each aspect of our breakfast meals. The meats were cooked perfectly. The potatoes were not frozen and thrown on a grill. Real potatoes. The omelette was delicious, the biscuits were very good, and the eggs were cooked perfectly. We had a delightful time. Our servers were wonderful and engaging. We would definitely go back."

  • "We Wanted To Treat Our Daughter And Son In Law To The Salish Lodge Breakfast And A Hike Down To Snoqualmie Falls. Outstanding View Table, Service And Food! Perfect meal."

  • "The service was excellent. The food was good. I think more could come with the salmon dish. Like asparagus and some rice would be good. It just seemed a little lacking of something. My husband's steak he said was very good. That salad I ordered was overpriced as were the drinks since they were quite small. We thought we would have a better view of the falls and so the view we were a little disappointed on. But again the service was very good."

  • "After having a breakfast of large proportions (with prices to match) earlier in our stay at the Salish Lodge, we met old friends here for dinner, not knowing what to expect. My wife was relieved to see reasonable portions, artfully presented. The prices are still steep, but her salmon and my halilbut were delicious with excellent accompaniments. My old service buddy also enjoyed the salmon, and his wife was content with the scallops appetizer. The wine list is extensive and well organized. Kudos to the Salish for offering a good selection of half bottles. The service was excellent, non-intrusive but well-paced. We finished a lovely evening by splurging on tasty desserts and pour-over coffees."

  • "We were staying at the Salish Lodge, so it only made sense to eat at one of the two restaurants on site. We made a reservation for our dinner, but be sure to make a brunch reservation for Sunday mornings too, we had no trouble getting a table on Saturday for brunch, but Sunday they were booked solid! Brunch was fantastic, but huge portions. We had leftovers for our breakfast the next day. Dinner was really nice too, we weren't super hungry so we each got a salad (the beet salad was really interesting and good!) and split an appetizer (but beware, the appetizers are tiny), and then each got a desert. We managed to time our reservation so the sun was setting not long after we sat down, which was a nice surprise. Get a window table if you can!"

  • "Went for lunch - very FEW lunch choices, as they essentially only offer breakfast, brunch, and dinner. Breakfast was typical lodge food, nothing special or creative, though it was good but expensive. Service was timely and friendly."

  • "The staff at Salish Lodge wet above expectations in responding to special requests. The food was good and the atmosphere "homey". We would go there again and do reccommend it."

  • "In a town full of great views, the one from the dining room at the Salish might be the best. It couldn't be a more pleasant and romantic spot for a fine dinner; and the food, wine and service were great to boot."

  • "Wonderful setting. Outstanding appetizer. Great dinner. Highly recommend."

  • "We have been regular customers at the Salish Lodge Dining room and I'm sad to say that over the year the place has lost what set it apart from the average restaurant. While the food was good (not fabulous as it used to be) the service was below average and the small touches this restaurant used to do (tableclothes, high end wine glasses, the river rock stones) have all gone by the wayside. It is still a great view restaurant and the food pretty good but not worth what paid for in my opinion."

  • "We took friends from out of town to brunch at the Salish Lodge and everything was absolutely perfect. Our waitress was pleasant, knowledgable and checked back regularly. Food was delivered quickly and absolutely delicious. Every detail from the hostess to the valet has been exceptionally trained. I would highly reccomended the Salish, you will not be disappointed."

  • "I've been to lots of brunch spots in Seattle. Salish Lodge is certainly one of the best. The eggs Benedict were lovely. Served with wonderful, crispy small white potatoes. The pancakes were event better. Light, fluffy and served the maple syrup, honey butter and blubbery compote. The waitress never let our coffee cups get low. The service is as good as the food."

  • "A private and romantic table overlooking the fabulous Snoqualmie Falls, a highly creative take on dishes renowned in the Northwest, specialty cocktails and extensive wine list, attentive but unobtrusive service, a casual resort atmosphere, friendly, never stuffy ... an extraorinary and unforgettable dining experience! It's hard to believe we aren't exaggerating but truly, we immensely enjoyed our two dinners and two breakfasts at Salish Lodge."

  • "We pulled in to the lodge and used the valet parking, which was quite easy. The dining room is just steps away from the main entry way so it was an easy walk for my elderly mother. We were a little bit early, but were shown to our table right away. They put us in a lovely, private, little room with a beautiful view of the forest and river below. We ordered the Caesar salad with crab. My mom ordered a glass of their red blend and I ordered a glass of Sauvignon Blanc. The salads were perfectly dressed and the crab fresh and delicious. When we finished lunch they brought my Mom a tiny piece of delicious cake with Happy Birthday on it. We will definitely go back again."

  • "Beautiful scenery and great setting. Service was exceptional and attentive. The food selection was perfect in that it focused on NorthWest and local sourced foods, not too much to choose from but enough to suite any taste. That means the effort into each meal is at an exceptional level of detail. Chef Snook made a fantastic evening even better - Thanks"

  • "Belgian Waffle, with nothing on the side..17 bux? Bland flavor, and tasteless maple syrup. The honey on the table was better than the cinnamon whip cream or maple syrup. Biscuits and gravy was heavy and made with beef not sausage. Biscuits are tasty, but the rest I could skip. Wont do brunch again. Ill try dinner perhaps, but not rushing back. Take the hike to the falls instead.."

  • "We had out of town family visiting us for the first time, and we always take our guests to The Salish for breakfast if they have never been there before. I have to say I enjoyed the food more when it was the Snoqualmie Falls Lodge. But the views are still great and we enjoyed walking around afterwards to see the falls from different angles, as well as the electric power plants (from a distance)."

  • "We had come in for lunch in what is touted as a great place to eat and truly disappointed that the lunch menu was 3/4 breakfast menu and about 5 items for lunch, a soup, a salad, a burger, ribs, and can't recall the 5th item. Atmosphere was nice, window view was nice but lunch menu disappointed. May be dinner is where the choices are."

  • "The restaurant was so romantic and the food was very yummy. The hostess was so accommodating (she let us sit by a window when we asked) and the waitress was so nice (she made sure we got all that we needed). My husband got the classic breakfast (so simple, yet delicious) and I got the salmon skillet (to die for!). The best part was the biscuits, which were fluffy and buttery."

  • "View is superb and we had a nice table by window (ask, host expects this anyway). Service was very good and attentive, although our side selection was missed - we didn't want it anyway. Table-side preparation of beef tartar was fun. Chicken for two was bland and dry. Had a terrific massage and spa experience for an hour before dinner. Nice way to spend anniversery"

  • "My husband and I just celebrated our 1st wedding anniversary and although we had originally planned to have dinner in Seattle, the construction situation had us change our mind to stay on the eastside. And we're happy we did. Salish Lodge Dining Room is a totally lovely experience for a special occasion meal. They knew it was our anniversary and put us in a secluded separate area by the window with a beautiful view outside. The food was absolutely excellent and our service was terrific. The evening was a lovely experience for both of us. Thank you!"

  • "We went on an early hike close by and made a reservation for brunch at Salish Lodge afterwards. Probably ate all of the calories we burnt off during the hike but it was well worth it!. Everything was fantastic, particularly the oatmeal and salmon skillet stir fry (not sure what it was called on the menu but it had potatoes, salmon, eggs and goat cheese). And the biscuits with honey were incredible.."

  • "We went to Salish Lodge for our 15th Anniversary. I mentioned at the time of the online booking that we were celebrating our Anniversary. When we arrived we waited 10-15 min to be seated but it was worth it because they got us a table with a nice view overlooking the falls. The server was pleasant. We had some dietary restrictions which they accomodated and made substitutes. The food was delicious and you tell the freshness of the meats and the veggies.Overall it was a very enjoyable experience. We will go back again."

  • "I had dined at Salish Lodge 22 years ago with my wife (we were 3 years married at the time). It was a beautiful place and the food was terrific. After brunch we strolled down to Snoqualmie Falls and I remember struggling back up from the river to the Lodge. 22 years later we returned with our kids. This is our 25th anniversary year. We had a terrific table by the window, we could see the Falls and the staff were a dream. The food was as good as we remembered it. It's a special place."

  • "Took my daughter to breakfast for her 50th birthday, remembering the wonderful County breakfasts I had there years ago. Not any more. Food was not memorable; even fruit was so drowned in lemon juice you couldn't taste it. Service was HORRIBLE: had to ask for coffee refill, asked for milk for oatmeal--never came; had to request juice, which was supposed to be part of the Country Breakfast and reluctantly was brought some. And had to ASK the server to pour the honey from the sky! She just brought the plate and walked off. Mind you, 2 of the 3 of us ordered the full Country Breakfast. So many better places to go for breakfast, like the Maltby Cafe."

  • "We could not have chosen a more beautiful setting...especially, celebrating a beautiful woman's birthday. The ambience, scenic view and of course, food and service were superb. The evening couldn't be any better...having a glass of wine and toasting during a phenomenal sunset...thank you for an evening to remember."

  • "As long as you know going in that the brunch will be pricey for basic egg dishes, sit back and enjoy! The Salish Lodge dining room is rich looking but welcoming with a lovely view. The eggs benedict and classic eggs were fine, but what made the brunch special was the "honey from the sky" and chocolate pot! I had stated that it was a birthday when I made the res. and our hostess and waitress went out of their way to help make this a special brunch. Our waitress was very attentive without being over bearing."
