The DhabaTasty!Food was very tasty and service was friendly. I'll definitely be back.4/30/2013 12:00:00 AMdelicious and very accommodatingI have dined here many time and brought a friend who had not been there before. She likes to try different foods but does not like things too spicy. We ordered two different main dishes: Chicken Korma, Palak Paneer, garlic naan, raita, and the assorted dessert plate. All items were delicious!! My friend even said that the level of heat was perfect for her. The restaurant let us sit for 2.5 hours (on a Monday night) while we ate and talked. It was a relaxed atmosphere. I highly recommend this establishment.4/29/2013 12:00:00 AMFANTASTIC little mom and pop placeA real mom and pop type of place;in fact "mom" may well have been our server! The aromatic nature of Indian cuisine meant as soon as we walked in my mouth started to water. There was a bit of a wait list so I was happy to have reservations. The place was busy the whole 2+ hours we were there with a nice mix of clientelle-Indian, college kids, business men. The value was incredible too. We usually spend an average of $60/meal when we go out and sometimes have some leftovers. At the Dhaba we spent that much only because it was our first time at an Indian restaurant so we wanted to try several items; we brought home enough leftovers for not one, but TWO more meals each! The food was just incredible! We'll be back!4/26/2013 12:00:00 AMIndian Food Newbies! We'd never had Indian Food before and got a deal for this place. It had awesome reviews on every website I'd seen, so we were excited to try it out. We did look at the menu online before arriving, since it was foreign to us. We went with the complete experience meals. The waitress was gracious with us, not being annoyed that we didn't know what we were doing or how to pronounce anything. She asked us to customize the spice level 1-10. (I chose a 2 so we didn't seem like wimps!) Man, the food was AWESOME!!! We'll definitely be back!4/19/2013 12:00:00 AMThis is some of the betterThis is some of the better Indian food I've had in a long time.3/27/2013 12:00:00 AMIt was a pleasant surpriseIt was a pleasant surprise to find authentic Punjabi food (with a couple of non-punjabi dishes)in Phoenix- Their chicken tikka was moist, well marinated-- their rabadi with jilebi-- and excellent desert-- reminded me of my trips to north India.3/21/2013 12:00:00 AM
