The Daily Catch SeaportDay Manager and some timesDay Manager and some times chef, Doug Pollander does a fantastic job of making every guest feel like family. The food is fresh and delicious; the view across the water is the perfect accompaniment to the seafood. Will definitely be back!5/20/2013 12:00:00 AMThe wait staff was friendlyThe wait staff was friendly and very helpful, the view is wonderful, and the food delicious.5/18/2013 12:00:00 AMTop-notch Seaport dining experienceMy boyfriend and I were very excited to try this outpost of a Boston staple. It was a bit chilly so we got a table inside by the window and still had a great view of the harbor. The service was excellent and our food (monkfish medallions and black pasta) was tasty and unique. They also had a great selection of local craft brews on tap and in bottles, which was a pleasant surprise. Will definitely be back there to eat on the awesome patio in summer!5/13/2013 12:00:00 AMBest Seafood in BostonGreat Seafood and Pasta plus one of the best views of the city!5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMWhat a wonderful experience! What a wonderful experience! Louie, the server, was attentive and the food was terrific. We were a party of 7, joyfully celebrating my daughter's graduation and were probably a tad difficult to manage. That didn't impede Louie and team from attentively caring for us. I called in advance to ask if a specific item was on the menu and was told while it was not a standard, the chef would be consulted and the item would be ordered for the day of our reservation. Sure enough, the most delicious RI oysters were listed as the daily special and my daughter was able to enjoy the only thing she asked for for graduation! Thank you Daily Catch!!5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat SeafoodThe Seaport area provides a scenic walk to help digest the great bread, appetizers, and entrees. The wine selection was limited but the drinks went well with the bread, calamari, and oysters. Everyone in the group had something different. Whether it was shrimp and pasta, salmon, or surf and turf (crab n fillet); everyone enjoyed their meal. The waitress was attentive and helpful if a selection or special was not available. It was early so inside seating was quiet.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMAlways happy at TDCBeen eating here back when they were located at Northen Av and each time we leave happy. I usually eat the black pasta puttanesca because I love it so much, but this time we shared the lobster Fra Diabolo and it was AMAZING.
Service is always friendly and attentive, managers even more so. A place not to miss and to keep returning!5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMNot much ambiance inside butNot much ambiance inside but outside seating overlooking the harbor was great. Food was very good but portion of scallops in the fried scallop plate was measly. Only served 4 scallops and the rest was fries. Restaurant should be more generous with the fish portion. After all, it is a seafood restaurant! On the plus side, our waiter was marvelous!5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMSlice of Seafood Heaven!A coworker and I went to the Daily Catch for lunch on a beautiful Thursday afternoon. She ordered a Caesar Salad with seared scallops on top and it looked delish; she was very pleased with it and ate the entire salad! I opted for one of the lunch specials of the day, it was a Salmon Panini with roasted peppers, spinach and some sort of mayo based, yet thin sauce, all on a perfectly toasted garlicky bread. I must say that it was AMAZING! The waiter was charming and the view was outstanding. I would definitely go back to the Daily Catch again & again!5/2/2013 12:00:00 AMSO glad we wentWarm, caring service. Every one of our four different entrees was spectacular. We had swordfish vinaigrette; monkfish marsala; pasta with scallops; shrimp, and broccoli; and a halibut on spinach special. A bottle of "Rustico" Prosecco was reasonably priced. Even though our table did not have much of a view, just glimpsing the harbor view was a treat.4/28/2013 12:00:00 AMThe black pasta is fantastic. The black pasta is fantastic. Too few employees for the number of customers.4/23/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent food and good service.Excellent food and good service. When the weather is warm, outside dining offers an excellent view of the harbor. Prices are fair and portions are generous.4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMYumWhen deciding to go to The Daily Catch, the main objective is to have excellent food at a reasonable price. That reality is true, athough the lobster fra diavolo sounds expensive, it feeds two quite well, in fact, finger-licking good. It's loaded with lobster, mussels, clams, shrimp, calamari and linguini, all in a spicy red sauce. I can't think of a better dish.4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMDelicious fresh seafood, wellDelicious fresh seafood, well prepared and reasonably priced, in an unpretentious setting with friendly service. The chef was happy to prepare my scallops sans garlic, even though garlic is a main ingredient in most dishes here. Scrumptious! Just remember to bring cash...4/5/2013 12:00:00 AMThe only reason I gave a 4The only reason I gave a 4 for food was that the calamari was good but below the very high expectations I had since it is known to be their specialty.4/3/2013 12:00:00 AMConsistently good!Consistently good food with a caring, efficient and professional staff. One of our favorite restaurants. Even visiting family members look forward to returning there!3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMI went here for a birthdayI went here for a birthday dinner.
