"The seafood was very fresh, but for the price an extremely small portion with loads of fries. Nice wine selection. Though it was crowded, service was very slow and not particularly attentive."

With just as good quality of food with the location at North end, this is more spacious with even friendlier and better services."

"We went there in a group of four and everybody was excited about the food. Indeed very good food! - but he place is difficult to find. It took our taxi driver nearly 20 minutes circling around before we called the restaurant and got even more detailled instructions. The service was perfect! friendly, precise in information and good recommendations"

"The food was not bad but it certainly wasn't anything spectacular. Portions were small for the price point. Fried Calamari appetizer was lackluster compared to what Boston restaurants do to make a great calamari dish.

The wait staff was very personable and attentive. We were not rushed at all on a busy Saturday night.

I think given the nice ambiance the tables could stand to have table clothes which could kick the experience up a notch given the high price point of the food.

While weather does not permit this time of year view from outside is spectacular and parking is easy so during warm weather despite the average food the venue would be great as there are not many waterfront restaurants where you can actually sit outside."

"Ok setting on the seaport. Monk fish had too much butter but was cooked perfectly. Skip the black noodles, nothing special. Also, the idea of serving food in the pans they were cooked in, but it doesnt pass the functionality test as my pan kept moving every time I tried to take a bite."

"We dined as a party of four during our recent trip to the APS Meeting in Boston. Our table was ready and waiting for our 7:30 pm reservation. The waiter was a bit doddering, but he was OK. The food was served piping hot in pans straight from the kitchen, an interesting presentation. I had the black pasta (squid ink) with alfredo sauce and scallops. The alfredo sauce was as smooth as silk; a bench-mark of a fine Italian restaurant. Portion sizes were generous. The view of Boston across the water was phenomenal on a clear cold night from our table by the window. My disappointments were both beverage-related. They were only serving beer and wine and my coffee was served luke-warm. Overall, yes, I would come back."

"My dinner at the Daily Catch was a complete disappointment. The service was extremely poor. I got to see my waiter twice: when he finally took my order and when he delivered the check. I sat for 15 minutes before anyone acknowledged I was there. The meal I ordered was delivered incorrectly. My waiter never asked how the food was or if I wanted another drink (or anything else). When I flagged him down for the check, he just said it was a busy night. By appearances, it wasn't that busy. I realize that a table for one is not the big money maker for the waiter but if you are not going to provide the service, don't take my reservation. Terrible evening, would never return here."
