the crow bar and kitchenGreat food, loud place at nightThe reviews on the excellent food proved true. Service was also great, with nice waitstaff knowledgeable on beers and wine. The only downside was the noise level after 8, which I guess shouldn't be surprising as the bar area takes up about half the space in the restaurant, and it's low ceilings and all hard surfaces. Maybe it was worse where we were seated, but it did leave us all feeling a little exhausted after a great meal. A place for eating, not talking! For dinner, I'd go a little earlier next time.6/6/2013 12:00:00 AMFantastic food and great beerThe beer selection was great, and the food option were unique. The ingredients were combined well to make a fantastic meal, and the service was ready to do anything asked of it.6/3/2013 12:00:00 AML-O-V-E CROW BAR!!!Since we have found Crow Bar we have a new favrite spot. Food choices and quality is TOP SHELF! Clean cooking. No wierd ingredients. Amazing Chef and Staff!5/25/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat food in a sea of noiseWe loved the food. Grilled artichoke, roasted brussel sprouts, black label burger and braised short ribs where cooked to perfection and delicious. Our one complaint was the noise level. We dined at 9:00 on a Saturday and the restaurant was filled with a young and very boisterous patrons. Nothing routy, just everyone trying to be heard against the other voices. The owners might want to look at ways to try and mitigate the noise level.5/25/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat FindThird time we have been at the Crow Bar, great food, great service, mgmt very attentive.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent place to wine and dineFood, drinks, and atmosphere was perfect. I will be going back her often.5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat beer, great food.Love this place - brought a business group this last time and had a blast. They have a notable beer list with some great craft brews. Food was awesome. Service was fantastic too.4/24/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat spot for hop-heads...Good first impression overall, GREAT beer offerings! We ordered starters first, and separate from mains. We were half done wit the apps when out came the mains. Super annoying. Super. Annoying. If I wanted everything together, I would have ordered it that way. Also, if you *must* bring all that stuff to the table early, at least have the foresight to make sure there is acreage on the table to put the plates down. This was not a busy dining room, and it seemed more like an Applebee's move and less like the killer spot The Crow Bar is. Anyway...
Our waiter was awesome, friendly and efficient. Great menu concepts and specials. Great spot all in all, I'll be back without a doubt....4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMCrowBar Can Use Little Danny MeyerGood food, great service, very noisy; difficult to talk. TV's on, background music on, everyone forced to talk over one another. Still, we'll return.4/19/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat neighborhood restaurantGreat neighborhood restaurant and bar!! Many small plates, so go for variety. We had Cuban sandwich, pork belly sliders, Lobster roll, brussels sprouts -- all were OK, but sandwiches were a bit soggy. Mushroom flatbread, veggie pasta and pork belly taco were excellent.4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMThe duck fat fries were sublime. The duck fat fries were sublime. For a slightly healthier lunch, try the kitchen sink salad.4/2/2013 12:00:00 AMexcllent findThe Crow Bar is very quaint and classy! We tried the green bean roasted fries and they were fantastic. I had the beer braised short rib that was to die for and my wife had fish and chips and both were supreme. My wife grew up in England and is extremely critical of fish and chips. Despite how popular and good the fish and chips are at the Kings Head in Santa Monica and many other places we have tried over the past twenty years, she generally snubs her nose at them. However, she was impressed with the ones she had at the Crow Bar. According to her they were the real deal. Overall the food, service, and ambiance was great! Loved it and look forward to our next visit.3/22/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat food! Great Service!Great food! Great Service! A little loud but fun at the same time.
