The crow bar and kitchen is the first gastropub for Orange County, complete with an array of international brews and a selective wine-by-the-glass program. The menu is done with a gourmet touch leaning on local, farm-fresh ingredients. It's high-end comfort food with an environmentally savvy twist. The crow bar and kitchen has created a different type of pub menu that celebrates local food, honors tradition and welcomes seasonality, with special attention given to illustrate the varying ways beer and food can be paired to make both more enjoyable. These menu changes will further support the farm to table model. The crow bar and kitchen is proud to support sustainable agriculture as well as local farms and businesses in order to serve food that simply tastes better.   • "We've haven't been here for awhile and found a few changes. On the plus side, the sausage trio and pretzel were great. I could make a meal with that and a nice cold beer. A disappointment was with the fish and chips. The fish was good, as usual, but the accompanying sauce just didn't go well with it. It had some sort of curry base to it and just didn't seem to go with the fish. Since they have a small menu, it may be awhile before I go back. Plus I found their glasses of wine to not be very generous at all."

  • "I ordered the "chicken" which came with beans/zucchini. I never liked zucchini so I asked if there was another vegtable available. The server asked if I would like Brussel sprouts. I said yes because I love them. Well, when my meal came & I tasted the Brussel sprouts, I gaged. They were really bad. I've never had a dish that bad...I'm now wondering if they actually have a chef or just some person who volunteered to cook or maybe they were taping an episode of "chopped"!"

We had steak and eggs, a kitchen sink salad and a few gluten free starters Which were great. Parking is by valet. Overall it's a good alternative to a True Foods "

  • "This was my first time to the Crow Bar and Kitchen and it was a home run! The staff was extremely friendly and the food was as good as advertised. The waiter made several recommendations and they did not disappoint. The only issue we had was that our food came out too fast. We had barely started into our grilled artichoke when our burgers arrived. It was crowed but didn't feel over-crowded. The noise level was a little high but that is to be expected in such a small space with that many people enjoying themselves. It was so good that we bought a gift certificate for a family member for their upcoming birthday."

  • "My husband had a Great Hambuger- and they had a wonderful selection of beers. He likes the IPA beer from Rissian River Valley, CA. We shared the duck fat fries served with aioli and homemade catsup - each in their own small container( about 1 Tablespoon). The fries tasted good but were not very crisp. I asked for more aioli and was chargers $1.00 for less than a Tablespoon. I ordered a flat bread with a blend of Mushrooms a creamy cheese and sautéed onions- tasted good but was limp. My margarita was tart with a bottled lime juice taste- not great. The Panini Mediterranean restaurant next door was very busy!"

  • "Our choice for" Restaurant Week" was The Crow Bar in Corona del Mar. Open Table Reservations was secured and seated within 5 minutes of arriving. At the time of placing our orders the waiter informed us the the grill was not working and are unable to serve any burgers or any items cooked on the grill. we revised our choices. Moments later, Andrew came back to our table reluctantly.....apologized they were out of the French Dip sandwiches! We made our 3rd choice of entrees with success of their arrival. During our dinner the restaurant filled with smoke making the dining experience unpleasant to say the least!! The Friday night dining turned out a disaster for all 4 of us!! The waiter did his best in the situation!"

My fennel rubbed baby back ribs were fantastic. What an interesting spice for ribs. Bottle wine list is great, less so by the glass, but a nice micro-brew collection. We requested a booth in the corner by the window, and that's what we got. Even in the more well known restaurants you seldom get what you ask for, but here our table was waiting for us. Highly recommend the Crow Bar."

  • "The food was just okay and did not warrant the high price for pub grub. The Burgers were especially disappointing and if you like being jammed in a loud room, then this is the place for you. My husband had fish and chips and I had the Black label crow Burger, with three glasses of wine and our dinner was $100. The $20 small burger did not even come with fries, I'm surprised the bun wasn't ala carte too!"

  • "We have eaten here before but the night we ate there is was not great. The kale salad was huge leaves cut, baby leaves would have been better. The mussels were ok. My husband said the crow burger was ok...not the best. It could have been us and just not a good night. The menu is good. It is an active place. The valet to park our car was great."

  • "My smoked salmon flatbread was a bit burnt and I didn't like the white sauce on it. Service was friendly but I felt rushed and they weren't even that busy during restaurant week. Pot de creme with salted caramel was yummy but they had ran out of the cookies they were supposed to come with. Not big savings for restaurant week either. Hit or miss"
