The crow bar and kitchen is the first gastropub for Orange County, complete with an array of international brews and a selective wine-by-the-glass program. The menu is done with a gourmet touch leaning on local, farm-fresh ingredients. It's high-end comfort food with an environmentally savvy twist. The crow bar and kitchen has created a different type of pub menu that celebrates local food, honors tradition and welcomes seasonality, with special attention given to illustrate the varying ways beer and food can be paired to make both more enjoyable. These menu changes will further support the farm to table model. The crow bar and kitchen is proud to support sustainable agriculture as well as local farms and businesses in order to serve food that simply tastes better.   • "We live in laguna so this is a bit of a drive but nice spot for home made gastro-pub type food and worth the drive. We met friends and the server was awesome, ensuring everyone had a good time. One of the couples brought their own wine and she didn't charge a corkage fee. Will definitely go here again."

  • "My husband had a Great Hambuger- and they had a wonderful selection of beers. He likes the IPA beer from Rissian River Valley, CA. We shared the duck fat fries served with aioli and homemade catsup - each in their own small container( about 1 Tablespoon). The fries tasted good but were not very crisp. I asked for more aioli and was chargers $1.00 for less than a Tablespoon. I ordered a flat bread with a blend of Mushrooms a creamy cheese and sautéed onions- tasted good but was limp. My margarita was tart with a bottled lime juice taste- not great. The Panini Mediterranean restaurant next door was very busy!"

  • "The wife and I had a great time last week at the Crow Bar. We try to change up our order each time and haven't been dissapointed yet. However our go-to is still the duck fat fries. Would recommend this place to anyone who wanted to enjoy some familiar yet upgraded dishes."

  • "Our choice for" Restaurant Week" was The Crow Bar in Corona del Mar. Open Table Reservations was secured and seated within 5 minutes of arriving. At the time of placing our orders the waiter informed us the the grill was not working and are unable to serve any burgers or any items cooked on the grill. we revised our choices. Moments later, Andrew came back to our table reluctantly.....apologized they were out of the French Dip sandwiches! We made our 3rd choice of entrees with success of their arrival. During our dinner the restaurant filled with smoke making the dining experience unpleasant to say the least!! The Friday night dining turned out a disaster for all 4 of us!! The waiter did his best in the situation!"

  • "Really, really energetic place bordering on too noisy to hear the person sitting across the table from you! Was a weekend night though. Love the daily specials! My fennel rubbed baby back ribs were fantastic. What an interesting spice for ribs. Bottle wine list is great, less so by the glass, but a nice micro-brew collection. Really good spot for people watching the folks of OC!"

  • "Crow Bar has great food, great service, prices reasonable, and lots of people watching. TV's in every corner to keep up with whatever sport is on. Dress is casual and the crowd is lively. We requested a booth in the corner by the window, and that's what we got. Even in the more well known restaurants you seldom get what you ask for, but here our table was waiting for us. Highly recommend the Crow Bar."

  • "The food was just okay and did not warrant the high price for pub grub. The Burgers were especially disappointing and if you like being jammed in a loud room, then this is the place for you. My husband had fish and chips and I had the Black label crow Burger, with three glasses of wine and our dinner was $100. The $20 small burger did not even come with fries, I'm surprised the bun wasn't ala carte too!"

  • "We have eaten here before but the night we ate there is was not great. The kale salad was huge leaves cut, baby leaves would have been better. The mussels were ok. My husband said the crow burger was ok...not the best. It could have been us and just not a good night. The menu is good. It is an active place. The valet to park our car was great."

  • "My smoked salmon flatbread was a bit burnt and I didn't like the white sauce on it. Service was friendly but I felt rushed and they weren't even that busy during restaurant week. Pot de creme with salted caramel was yummy but they had ran out of the cookies they were supposed to come with. Not big savings for restaurant week either. Hit or miss"

  • "We have dined at Crow Bar a few times and always enjoy the beer selection - which is very wide and interesting. The food was good - fantastic green beans, wonderful duck fat fries, great burgers and great flat breads. The only complaint I have is that the server wasn't very knowledgable of the menu - we ordered the special grilled cheese sandwich for the kids at our table, and the server didn't know what half the ingredients in the sandwich were. It ended up being a goats cheese sandwich, which wasn't ideal for young kids. But the meals we had were great!"

  • "The sausage plate was phenomenal. In fact all of the appetizers we tried were great. We had a reservation for 5 dining early on new years eve, and our service was ... ok. The service staff was easily confused by the multiple menus in rotation and it was clear when sneaking a peek into the kitchen that the kitchen staff was really only prepped for the pre-fix menus, which meant our order (from the regular menu) took too long and probably suffered a little in presentation. But they are afterall only human. The food is solid. Better than solid. i will go back."

  • "Went to Crow Bar for New Year's Eve dinner (which I know can be a busy night for restauranteurs). The restaurant was packed, very busy and it was so loud with the music, number of people and close proximity of other tables that it was literally impossible to have any kind of conversation without yelling. Kitchen was out of several menu items even though our reservation was before 7pm. I've been for brunch before and had a much better experience."

  • "Everything was very good, my boyfriend and I had made a reservation for NYE for the pre-fix dinner. When we arrived the hostess sat us on the very edge of a tall table with a large party next to us. I kindly asked if we could possibly sit somewhere else in the restaurant so we can enjoy our dinner a little more comfortably, and she snapped back with " No. We are booked, this is the only table I have for you" A response a little nicer would have been okay... but our sever was very sweet and we even moved to the bar once we finished our meal. I would definitely go back but just for drinks and appetizers not an intimate meal."

  • "Such horrible service! This place has been on a downward spiral as of recently. I love the food at both Crow Bar & Crow Burger but the service has taken a turn for the worse. I practically avoid Crow Burger Kitchen like the plague. I love the food, love the beer, but HATE the service. CBK is walking distance from me and I still won't go. It seems as though Crow Bar is starting to follow the same trend, maybe same managers? I dont know but its quite disappointing. I had a reservation for Saturday night @ 8:15pm. Walked in @ 8pm and was sat immediately. We didn't eat until our food until almost 9:40pm! We ordered our food, appetizer & drinks all at the same time (she took awhile to ask for our drinks) Appetizer was cold, dinner was forgotten"

  • "I have been to the Crow Bar on a couple of occasions with my wife and adult son. The food is good but you would not go there for the food. The bar and restaurant are loud and the spaces are pretty close. It is not a place to go for a romantic dinner for two. The bar crowd is a younger end of 30's crowd. I was not impressed by the wine list, and I an far from a wine aficionado. Give it a try it won't be a total failure."

  • "Thursday afternoon we stopped in at 4 PM to an almost empty place for appetizers and beer. We got great individual attention and suggestions from the server. When his shift changed, he introduced us to the new server who was also informative. The food was great and the beer selection also. By the time we left the room was buzzing with younger patrons. We are Seniors and enjoyed this experience."

The beer list is on the pricey side and tends to be more gourmet which doesn't give a lot of selection for people looking for something more mainstream. The food is typical southern CA "gastropub," and is pretty heavy in general."

  • "Noise level is almost unbearable for those wanting to have any kind of conversation over dinner - the bar is obviously the focus here. Six of us for dinner and three of the six orders were screwed up - service is kind of indifferent - three drinks will be served, then the others come 'whenever'. Had a reservation for five and when I called to change to six people the girl on the phone sounded as if I was creating the biggest problem of her day - almost cancelled but decided to see what this place was all about. The food was very good and I would return but only as a couple. Menu features many things you normally would not find at most restaurants."

  • "We once again dined early to catch a movie. Restaurant was not crowded though it can be later in the evening and on weekends. Our server Shay was fantastic, very friendly and attentive. My wife chose the daily special Cheese Sandwich and I selected the Cubano Sandwich. We shared an order of Vidalia Onion rings with Buttermilk Dressing. All items were delicious The wine and beer list is extensive with many craft and foreign beers listed. The daily dinner specials also look very tempting as well as the daily Flat Bread selections. Valet parking is available as there is limited street parking."
