I had the pasta Bolognese, the sauce was burnt, and dry it was in-eatable. The fillet mignon was a weird color , dry and tasteless. The dinner salad was good.Thats it. We will never go back.

Work your way along a mile of antique and home decor shops filled with Texas style to a garden along the river. Enjoy an epicurean evening in a noticeably upscale yet casual surrounding. Talk about the evocative taste experience and just think about doing it again. You have been to the Creek Restaurant.

I've eaten at The Creek twice and been impressed both times. I've eaten with eight people over the two visits and there have been just 1-2 items that weren't five star, but were still nothing to scoff at. Even my mother, who really doesn't enjoy food, said "this is the best meal I've had in years!". To see my mom excited about food really says something to me. Service is always fantastic. The ambiance is lovely. On Sundays (not sure about other days) there is a gentleman playing the piano and softly singing, just another beautiful touch to this gorgeous restaurant. And, I highly recommend going for your birthday, they have the piano player sing acapella and WOW! Looking forward to visiting in cooler weather and enjoying the patio.

Most of the food was very good expecially the pablano soup they serve on Friday's. The four of us had entrees of scallops, lamb, and two kinds of fish. All were delicious - the sides were not up to par. But we enjoyed our meals non-the-less.

A wonderful experience. The Creek's quiet Victorian ambiance was just what we wanted for our special occasion. The staff's service was just right. The food was exquisite with portions of the main course that were not too big and not too small. My wife had quail and I had the surf and turf. Both entrees cooked to perfection. I do wish the calamari appetizer had been more tender and that I had seen more steamed vegetables with my dinner. The salads, blue cheese and vinaigrette dressings were perfect. We had key lime pie which had just the right level of tartness; not overpowering. If you're looking for a quiet romantic setting that takes you back to the elegance of the late 19th century, I believe The Creek is a place you will enjoy.

We took a group of ladies who are hard to please and everyone loved it. What a delightful Resturant. I was pleased to find that the General Manager came from one of our favorite Resturant in San Antonio that had closed. Also always, he was gracious and helpful. It was raining and he saw that all the ladies were walked to their car with umbrellas. What a hit he made. We will definitely be back.

I liked my order of Trout Almondine. One of the two persons who ordered fish tacos complained that the fish was too thick Crème Brule with a candle was given our birthday girl for sharing and that was nice. The noise level in the room interfered with the conversation at my table of four, but the crisp white tablecloths and table decorations were very nice.

This was our second time to dine at the Creek. The first time we were here in 2011 we thought it was a great place so when we decided that we would be back in Boerne with 3 other couples we made a reservation to eat here. Everyone was tremendously pleased with the entire package from ambiance, food and attention to our needs. We will always make the Creek our first choice for dinner.

I have lived in Boerne 6+ years. When the Creek opened we went several times and all I can say was it was inconsistent at best. HOWEVER the last 4 times we have dined there they keep getting better and better. It is a now a First Rate Restaurant and has taken over from the 'other' First Rate Restaurant in town. Great job to the Owners. The ambience is great and so was the service and food.

We have never been disappointed by the Creek. Very good wine selection and well made cocktails. Imaginative menu and all the dishes we've tried have been executed very well. They work. Seafood selections are limited, but excellent. We tried the shrimp and grits appetizer for the first time, but were not impressed. The sauce overpowered the dish, but if you could get a taste of the cheese grits without the sauce they were delicious. The shrimp was pretty bland. The calamari was delicious. The grilled chicken breast with capers and lemon-butter sauce was very good, and so was the shrimp linguini. The service was terrific. The restaurant wasn't full when we were there, but the staff was super attentive but unobtrusive.

Wonderful food, service, and atmosphere. Jetro is a well-informed and attentive server. Great suggestions. Problem, however, OpenTable would not allow a 7:00 pm reservation, so we opted for 6:30. At 7:00 the restaurant had 10-12 tables available.

The service was a tad inattentive, but the food was great and the view of the creek very nice. It may have been a crazy night, as it appeared that there were large parties of prom goers. All of our dishes were wonderfully prepared and delicious. I do wish that the wait staff were a little more knowledgeable about the wine list, which was reasonably extensive and very well rounded. We have tried other restaurants in Boerne, but this one is the only one that measures up to the label "fine dining".

Raul and his team were at the top of their game on an extremely busy night. We are regulars and I decided to give the sea bass a try. WOW! Fantastic. He is always on the lookout for interesting wines. I had a great NZ Sauvignon blanc. He warned me it may not be available at our next visit because the winery made such a limited production. It's so refreshing to find someone who likes to discover new wines and share them.

We were outside, & it is beautiful. My only comment about the special is that the waitress did not say how much the specials were, and I happened to get one of them. I thought $53 was a little steep, but it was very good. The lobster tail could have been taken out of its shell, so it would be less messy to remove. The other thing was that once we paid our bill, but still remained chatting, and there weren't very many tables remaining, I hate when you are totally ignored and not offered additional water. The setting is unbeatable!

We really wish we lived closer. We'd have to leave at breakfast time to eat lunch here. The temptation is to do this every weekend. NEEDS SOME SOUND PROOFING. WE COULDN'T EVEN CARRY ON A CONVERSATION UNTIL THE TABLE NEXT TO US LEFT. WE HAD RESERVATIONS AND THE RESTAURANT WASN'T EVEN HALF FULLSO THEY COULD HAVE SEATED US ELSEWHERE AS THE TABLE NEXT TO US WAS LOUD WHEN WE WALKED IN. THERE WAS ANOTHER ROOM BUT I DIDN'T NOTICE IT UNTIL WE WERE LEAVING. THE SERVICE LEFT MUCH TO BE DESIRED AND HAS DETERIORATED SINCE MY LAST VISIT. THE FOOD WAS GOOD. THIS WAS A SPECIAL OCCASION FOR US. IT WAS A DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE AND WILL NOT BE REPEATED.
