"I love the Cottage. My Book Group has been going there once a month since the restaurant opened and I meet friends at least twice a month for lunch or dinner. The staff is always knowledgeable about the menu and very helpful."

"We had lunch and 3 of us had the chicken salad sandwich and one had the burger. All of us totally devoured the food which was delicious."

"Even if you have a reservation you still have to wait. I went there for lunch this week with 3 friends. We didn't have a lot of time so I made a reservation. When we got there we still had to wait 20 minutes for a table. Why take reservations? The food came out cold. The waitress was very nice. I would go there more but the service and wait times are unpredictable, even with a reservation."

"AFter a few really bad experiences during the past 6 months, the restaurant is back and functioning
with some of the most pleasant staff around. Service was outstanding, our hostess was fabulously accomodating
and everyone had a a smile... this was in stark contrast to my other recent experiences. I might add one little note,regarding their
drinks... while The Cottage originally made great martinis, overflowing and cold... past experiences yielded a very stingy
(small) drink with alot of ice floating around. When we complained, we were told that the bar was "now using a meausred pour"...
This time around, our drinks were better prepared and while not flowing over, significantly more generous than our last
experience.."

"Nice setting. It was very busy and full but we were seated within 2 min. Service was mediocre. Main server seemed stressed and trying to be friendly but was short. Appetizers were great. Main course tasted fine but lacked some decoration. Sauce was all over plate and spilled over. I ordered an Irish coffee for dessert which arrived in a wine glass with no decoration and the ice cream almost totally melted. Was not a pleasant experience to sip it from a wineglass with a straw. For the money I would have liked to see a bit better service and more tlc presenting the food. Will give the place another chance when it's hopefully less crowded."

"This is one of my favorite restaurants, I dined there at least 20 times in the past 12 months alone. I was very disappointed today to hear that Brianna, one of my 2 favorite bartenders there, was dismissed from duty in the past week. I am very disappointed because although the food is very good at The Cottage, it is the staff that makes the place the winner that it is. Brianna, and our other favorite bartender Rob, make our visits to The Cottage exceptional. Their friendly and engaging demeanor, their attentiveness, and their overall knowledge of food and wine make dining at The Cottage every week a treat. We are planning on having my wife's birthday party there next week but at this point may have to consider another venue."

"I've been to the Cottage many times and the food has always been good but the service was hit or miss. Last night our server was fantastic and she made the whole experience so much better. The fish and chips were AMAZING."
