The joint was jumpin' when we arrived at 8:30 for the 8:45 reservation for four. A group of 20 was making plenty of noise, but the staff was handling the entire affair well. The bar area is a small holding pen-clearly used for brief waits until tables are ready, versus a stop by and have-a-couple situation. Our server, Liz was outstanding, the food was terrific-served on time, well plated, and included some innovative ingredient combinations. Wine list was OK, maybe quite focused by design, with enough to choose from, but not much in the "wow" category. Overall-four stars and a definite recommendation for friends.

The food we had was delicious. We enjoyed sharing the large plates. The fried chicken with grits and collard greens was delicious. The stinging nettles were great too. The lamb was delicious but overpriced at $42.

Very loud - which is fun in a group, but not with your mom:). Food was pretty good, pasta dish we had was a little salty. Staff working very hard to make everything perfect. Looked like most people were having a good time.
