The food was decent however the service by our waitress was poor. While having a hard time deciding what to order, she was not friendly or helpful. Their breakfast items are a bit different than what I expected. After dining, we found out there was a buffet....which was not mentioned by the waitress at all. When ordering the mimosa bar, she never went over juice options and when we ordered the 2nd one, she took our unfinished drink from the table. Will not go back.

This is a great restaurant if you are going to the DCPA's! It is right across the street. The food is great, a twist on a lot of favorites. Fun, healthy choices. The salmon entrée and the Sesame Chicken are delicious. My husband had the steak and he loved it. The vibe is fun but totally kid friendly, we had ours and another table had theirs, we were in the restaurant side, not the bar side. The bar is trendy and cozy! The prices are just right for the location.

The Corner Office Restaurant and Martini Bar is located across the street from the Denver Performing Arts Center. The location is reason enough to try it if you are attending a performance, but the food and drink seal the deal. They describe their food as international comfort food, and I agree based on their menu. Very enjoyable dining experience. But, it is the wait staff that makes the biggest difference. They were very attentive, and made us feel welcome.

  • Fusion food?

Very convenient location before theatre night. Great martinis, excellent ciabatta. Some of the dishes are very tasty, in general ingredients are carefully selected. On the flip side, somehow this interpretation of fusion food yields dishes with twists that do not really add anything to the overall experience and better be left out. Lots of different tastes and textures are present on the plates, however they do not form a harmonic dish and the results are pretty unimpressive.

I've been back twice in the last month & both times the hostess was great, the service was fantastic - their recommendations for both drinks & food were spot-on. Even when trying to get to the theater, they worked with our timeline - so it's a great place to meet up before or after a show.

Chose this spot for its close proximity to DPAC and tasty menu. Service was friendly and decent overall but inconsistent with attention spurts and long waits. Had to refine my bill with the manager, but nothing was overall bad. Kids love the cherry pink cotton candy treat with their brunch. Fries are yummy. Quiche of the day was tasty. bacon was overdone, too crumbly. Atmosphere there can't decide what it wants to be.

Except for one item I would give it a high rating. Staff were attentive and friendly. Atmosphere was fun. Food was good but you know when you start off with something that's not what you expected, it taints the rest of the experience? We ordered the mussels as an appetizer. Generous portion but every mussel had sand or grit in it. I kept trying to eat it but gave up after several attempts. And the feeling/memory of sand in my teeth took away from the rest of the meal. Otherwise I think it was a great restaurant and will return again. I just won't order the mussels.

The Corner Office is a great place for a drink before a show at the Theater. The atmosphere is great and the patrons were very hip. Vibrant colors and modern furnishings a throughout the bar and restaurant. Several folks were at the bar for happy hour and several were having a drink before dinner or before going to a show. The food was good. The salmon on the plank was a little over done to my taste but everything else was perfect. The food overall was delicious!

I met a high school classmate I hadn't seen for many years there before we went to a Broadway play at DCPA. Our server was good, friendly etc at first then disappeared even with an empty glass of wine on the table. She apologized and did seem busy so have more waitstaff please if that is going to happen. The food was overpriced and ok/not great (sesame chicken was a very small portion and korean beef I might try again). Overall, it was a convenient spot for a quick meal before the show but I'll stick to going there for drinks after events or appetizers/happy hour in the future. One big flag for others is that if you park in the parking lot under the restaurant it will cost a whopping $21.

Always like the quick service and consistently good food. Love it's convenience to the Denver Center for Performing Arts (right across the street) and the car validation discount for parking in the restaurants garage. Atmosphere is very vibrant and can get a little too loud at times but for the most part, it's a great place for before and after theater performances. Definitely will return. Oh...love the Bimbibap (Korean hot rice dish with beef). My favorite.

I visited The Corner Office for their disco brunch. Let me start by saying, DO NOT opt for the all-you-can-drink mimosas or bloody marys. With the slow service, you're lucky to be served more than two. The food was decent and the portions are of good size. My suggestion is to go if you're looking for a good, not a great, brunch.

Make a reservation well in advance and let your server know you're going to the theatre. This is definitely the best option in the 'hood for good before the show. Try sharing some of the apps and salads or branch out to some of the interesting exotics like bibimbap.

While visiting Denver I wanted to surprise friends with a unique brunch experience and read about the Disco Brunch at The Corner Office. This place did not disappoint! The food was unique and fabulous....there were 6 of us and everyone ordered something different and left very pleased with their choices. The environment was fun--with Soul Train being projected on one wall, the menu looking like an old record album, and then disco balls and decor placed throughout the restaurant. The disco music is muted and never impacted the ability to converse. They even have a rack of 70's themed clothing that you can opt to wear for the occasion! I give this place 5-stars--for fun and great food! I wish we had The Corner Office where I live!

We ate here over the weekend while we were staying at the Curtis. We thought the menu looked good online and decided to try it out. We were disappointed to say the least. The food was horrible. Sauce for Calamari was like stewed tomatoes with capers and olives mixed in, Crab Fritters were overly seasoned with season salt of all things and I literally could not eat the hummus. My husband was hungry and ordered the Apple Empenadas and it was like, pie crust on the outside, thick and gross. Additionally they were vacuuming as we were eating!! And there were more people still coming in (we arrived at 830 NOT LATE). The only thing good was the dirty martini (must be a good bartender behind this horrible food and ambiance).

Something about the décor/ambiance is off. Can't put my finger on it. Mod/Diner/Upscale are three words that don't seem to go together and neither does the dining room to me. The menu looks interesting, we ordered only apps and turns out they were all fried (our mistake, should have asked first) so we were disappointed, but they were all very good, just not what we wanted. So we might try again as other menu items looked good on the menu and on other tables.
