Diner Reviews
  • "We had dinner before a play. The food was imaginative, with fresh ingredients and well prepared. Wine list was OK, but they were out of the bottle I ordered. Staff was attentive and courteous and our waiter, in particular, was exceptional. Will go back."

  • "We had a reservation at the Buell Theater and we are from out of town, so we were glad to park once to attend both a place to eat and go to the theater. It was a new experience that we enjoyed at your restaurant."

  • "We ate here over the weekend while we were staying at the Curtis. We thought the menu looked good online and decided to try it out. We were disappointed to say the least. The food was horrible. Sauce for Calamari was like stewed tomatoes with capers and olives mixed in, Crab Fritters were overly seasoned with season salt of all things and I literally could not eat the hummus. My husband was hungry and ordered the Apple Empenadas and it was like, pie crust on the outside, thick and gross. Additionally they were vacuuming as we were eating!! And there were more people still coming in (we arrived at 830 NOT LATE). The only thing good was the dirty martini (must be a good bartender behind this horrible food and ambiance)."

  • "Something about the décor/ambiance is off. Can't put my finger on it. Mod/Diner/Upscale are three words that don't seem to go together and neither does the dining room to me. The menu looks interesting, we ordered only apps and turns out they were all fried (our mistake, should have asked first) so we were disappointed, but they were all very good, just not what we wanted. So we might try again as other menu items looked good on the menu and on other tables."

  • "2 of 4 dishes at our table were outstanding. Fun place to try with unique menu items. Water was really awful."

  • "So convenient to DCPA, very friendly & accommodating. The Hoi sin sauce made on site was delicious. Exceptionally good entrees & cocktails. I'm personally not a fan of the decor, but this was a perfect fit for our evening. Very friendly, attentive staff & good food. We were there for early dinner, but the bar side was energized as well."

  • "We sat outside and had some drinks, app and dinner before the play and it was great. No need to spend a ton of money for good food. The stripped bass was delicious and my hubby had the burger and said it was good. The hummus app was great...fresh pita bread, yum! Great service too!"

  • "We sat next to a gentleman that received terrible service. He was dining alone while on a conference call, and he had to physically get up to go to the front to pay for his meal. I just felt bad for this guy, other than that, the food was pretty good and the service for our table was adequate."

  • "Fun place with a nice and diverse menu. The crab cake appetizer is amazing. Great drinks. Service a little spotty as the host station is a mile away from everything."

  • "This restaurant was great! The hostess was very kind and led us to our table on the opposite side of the bar for dinner. The noise level was pleasant and there wasn't a bad table in the place. Our waitress gave us great recommendations. The menu was small but the items were good. Ask about the specials they're awesome. I would absolutely go there again. Also, parking at the Curtis Hotel is free for restaurant guests."

  • "Took a date out to this spot and received great service and good food. Limited menu choices, but the drink menu was plentiful."

  • "Wait staff was very friendly, offered up great drink and food recommendations. Food was very interesting and flavorful. We totally enjoyed our meal."

  • "We go here for dinner before events at DPAC. Very crowded for dinner and bar scene. Surprised by sparse lunch. Food is good. Service a little slow, but waitress explained that the cook dropped my grilled cheese."

  • "Great service, I do not recall his name but he was from Vienna, Austria and he was a true gem. Exceptional server and made our first experience to this restaurant one to remember. I had the unicorn tears martini and kung pao beef, both were out of this world. Our server was fantastic!!!"

  • "My server was outstanding...knowledgeable, friendly, attentive (without being pushy and annoying)."

  • "Great martinis and food. This restaurant is our favorite eatery before attending the symphony. Kim Brown, manager is too cool for words! Keep up the great work, Girl. It was nice chitin with you the other night. Rebecca Foss and Patrick Williams."

  • "I made reservation because I did not know what to expect; I have never been to this restaurant. The restaurant was fairly empty and filled up once we left but there was no reason we had to be seated at a very small table, right across from a 12 year old who really liked to talk and right in front of a busy computer where orders were put in. I would have just showed up and asked for bar seating had I known making a reservation means keep the good seats open for the more worthy customers. The service by our waitress made up for it though and we left happy thanks to some great food and a very professional and knowledgeable waitress. "

  • "This restaurant was packed on a Friday evening with the theater going on as well. We had reservations, and were seated right away. A few kitchen snags made us quite close to our theater reservation, but the servers and restaurant made us whole. The food was good and even though it was loud, as one might expect on a Friday night, it was fun. "

  • "We sat at the rear of the restaurant on Friday night and the noise was so deafening we had to shout across the table to hear our guests. I think younger folks like the roar, but it's not for us. Our waitress was cheerful and efficient. We appreciated her."

  • "Great location for dinner when heading to the theatre."

  • "Had a good dinner there before seeing a show at the DCPA. Meal was good, reasonable prices, servers and ambience nice. Best part was the deal on valet parking - first 2 hours complimentary w stamp from restaurant and then $12 for the remainder of our evening. Plus we texted the valet when the show ended and our car was waiting for us. "

  • "We had a great time at Corner Office last year for their Mothers Day brunch with a photo booth, chair massage, pancakes for the kids and mimosas so we went back this year and were VERY disappointed. No photo booth or chair massages for mom and the kids pancakes were burnt. Still good food but not at all what we went for or were hoping for."

  • "I had a glass of the Tempranillo. The temperature of the wine was much warmer than room temp....it was the same temp as my mouth. I sometimes find wine by the glass comes from bottles standing under the bar lights. Anyway, we had a great table, excellent service by Dave, a wonderful meal, and we plan to come back but I'll probably not oder wine by the glass. "

  • "I love the location, food, and service! This place is adjacent from the theaters which makes "dinner and show" ideal! The food was delicious and plentiful! We were a party of four and had the fish tacos and drinks! Our entrees were the chicken and waffles, lobster mac & cheese, bibimbap, and the office burger which were ALL so tasteful! Our server Martin was friendly and attentive. He made our first time at this place pleasant and comfortable. We will definitely come back for "dinner and a show" night!"

  • "The dish I had was tasty but hard to eat out of a deep bowl. It would be better served on an open plate. The pieces of meat should be cut smaller because they are difficult to cut in a deep dish. "

  • "Super place to eat for events at DCPA. Service and food are outstanding, and can validate parking for their garage for only $8 per event. "

  • "I recently had an 11:30 lunch reservation at The Corner office. I was a few minutes ahead of my guest. The hostess initially declined to seat me until my guest arrived. There were at least 10 empty tables and many idle servers standing around, chatting. She eventually relented. Management: This is a stupid policy. You are not Frasca. Seat people when they arrive."

  • "The location was great considering the proximity to the Performing Arts Center. The food was okay, but overpriced for what you got. Our waiter forgot about us several times, and we actually has to ask someone else for service. The cheesecake dessert was the one redeeming part of our meal...it was wonderful! Overall though, I don't think we will be returning."

  • "Having never been there before I made reservations way in advance. We arrived 5 minutes before our time and were seated 15 minutes later. After being seated we waited 5-10 minutes until our drink order was taken and then another 10 minutes until our food order was taken. Once we finally ordered the food came out in a timely fashion. The food was ok but not a good as I expected. "

  • "Our server was awesome, fast and she knew the menu very well, had recommendations which we took her up on and they were great! Food was delish and hot! Would highly recommend and we'll be back! "

  • "Although my date and I were 1/2 hour late for our reservation, the staff was very flexible in seating us as soon as we arrived. "

  • "Great wait staff and hostess- Katy and kate(biomed student) were professional and upbeat. We had great food and got to our musical in plenty of time"

  • "This is the easiest place to eat when I'm going to anything at the Performing Arts Center. The food and service are always good. If you're in a rush, the bar has quick bites. And after a performance, it's a good place for a drink or dessert before heading home."
    Dined on 4/22/2014
  • "The food was great and our server was excellent as well...wish I could remember his name to give him Kudos. We went for Easter Brunch and I found it a little odd/frustrating that they had the kid's egg dying table right next to not only the entrance but also the bottomless bloody mary bar...Other than that, can't wait to go back!"

  • "This was our second visit to TCO. The first wasn't quite up to par, but we were impressed that the manager reached out to us a few days later to find out what had gone wrong. This impressed us so much that we returned so that we could give them another try. We were not disappointed. Janet, our server, was polite, funny, and attentive. Orders came out with perfect timing-- we weren't rushed, nor were we left wondering when the next course might come out. The biscuits were simply the best we had had since leaving the South. We splurged, sharing the fried chicken & waffles and enjoyed them mightily. TCO is our new go-to place when visiting the Denver Performing Arts Center!"
