  • "This was our second visit to TCO. The first wasn't quite up to par, but we were impressed that the manager reached out to us a few days later to find out what had gone wrong. This impressed us so much that we returned so that we could give them another try. We were not disappointed. Janet, our server, was polite, funny, and attentive. Orders came out with perfect timing-- we weren't rushed, nor were we left wondering when the next course might come out. The biscuits were simply the best we had had since leaving the South. We splurged, sharing the fried chicken & waffles and enjoyed them mightily. TCO is our new go-to place when visiting the Denver Performing Arts Center!"

  • "The music kept being turned up as the dinner crowd gathered. Could not talk to tablemates!"

  • "We often come here before events at the Performing Arts Center.. Interesting drinks often feature Colorado brewers, wineries and distilleries. Wide-ranging menu changes frequently, sometimes with themes tied to performances at DCPA. Tasty food, reasonably speedy service. What's not to like?"

  • "We ate here before a show. The service was outstanding, the food was OK. We ordered bimbambop and Chicken Masala, both of which were highly recommended. They were just OK. I would recommend going here because there is an extensive menu and staff are great at getting you in and out the door in time for the show."

  • "If you are downtown and looking for a bar atmosphere that is trendy I believe this is the place. Seems to be more suited for the 20s and 30s age group."

  • "The location across from the DCPA and parking made this a perfect choice. I expected a slightly more formal atmosphere. Was like a cafe vs. a luncheon restaurant. Also expected a lunch menu vs. Sat. brunch, and some kind of bread with the cobb salad. But we would go back in conjunction with the theatre. Loved being able to make a reservation, as the place was packed just before show time. Parking convenience was great."

  • "We were not thrilled with the food or the service. And $10 for a drink ..... really. There far place in that area. Wouldn't recommend this place."

  • "Corner office is in a great location however that was really the only good part. Food was okay, servers weren't very responsive with answering questions and they messed up our order. Plus it was expensive considering the quality of the food. Wouldn't recommend this place at all."

  • "The location next to the theater complex makes it an ideal pre or post theater place to eat and have a drink"

  • "The Corner Office is very trendy, very hip, but I think it's the bar scene that draws in the patrons. Bar is incredibly crowded and popular. We went there for dinner -- the menu sounds really intriguing and delicious, but the food is just sort of meh. Fish tacos are bland and greasy, the special that night (a curry) was so-so. Appetizers were crab fritters... they were OK, but nothing to write home about. So, if you want great cocktails and a hopping bar scene -- go there. If you want a nice dinner... there are plenty of other places that do a better job at that."

  • "Greeters- friendly and helpful Waiter- attentive but did not hover Lemon drop martini- yum! Food- something for everyone even our pickiest vegetarian! Lovely to look at and very tasty as well! Over all- calls for a return visit to our new favourite pre-theater restaurant find!"

  • "The Corner Office is a great place for a quick bite before a show at the DCPA. The food is interesting and quite good. The atmosphere is mostly the after work crowd having a martini. It works better than some of the more fancy restaurants in the area. The service is fast as well."

  • "Great place to dine before going to the Denver Center for Performing Arts! Great food and good service. Highly recommended."

  • "The hostess & the waitress asked if we were going to a show at the DCPA, which we were; the service was incredibly fast. We allowed 1.5 hr for dinner & it was not too much time. We had a leisurely dinner with wine & dessert; arrived at the theater just in time. Food was good, tho' the portions were not overly generous. We would not have been full if not for dessert. I had the tuna nicoise; the ahi tuna was among the best I have ever had, the 2 sauces that came with the tuna were delicious. But the potatoes were almost raw; could have been cooked a tad longer, & there was no salt. Who wants to eat boiled potatoes and hard boiled eggs without salt? Olives &/or capers would help. So, while not a perfect tuna nicoise, it was still very good."

  • "The menu choices had great variety, were unique to this restaurant and delicious. Service was prompt and friendly. The location is right across from DCPA and convenient for a before show dinner."

  • "Thank you, Quinn, for providing attentive and knowledgable service during our pre-theater dining on Tuesday. Your menu recommendations were delicious. Your care and attention to ensuring food was served gluten-free is very much appreciated. You knew how to pace our dinner so that we could relax and enjoy and still make it to the curtain on time. Thank you, Nancy"

  • "I wasn't expecting much from The Corner Office, but the bibimbap converted me. Too bad that it has a sterile crowded vibe. I would be a regular if it was a little more inviting, and the seats were more comfortable."

  • "I made a reservation for a friend and I to have Appetizers and Drinks before going to Theater. I was waiting for my friend at a table as I made a reservation. When my friend arrived, she was told that the restaurant didn't take any reservations. It turned out that my friend was waiting for me by the Bar as I was waiting for her at a table. When we sat at the table, we were told that we couldn't order Appetizers and Drinks there. Therefore, we had to move to the Bar. Furthermore, the waitress told my friend earlier that all the Appetizer portions were small. Each of us ordered a drink and two Appetizers. Somehow, the communication at this Restaurant was poor and neither my friend nor I were given the correct information."

  • "Great sauces on our special dinner! We loved eating leisurely after we parked our car in the parking garage and before our play performance at the Denver Center Theater Company. We'll be back!"

  • "Noise level was way ABOVE "energetic" to CONCRETE TRUCK GRIND level. Food was excellent, servers and table-cleaners were prompt and unobtrusive, but NO CONVERSATION is possible. We ate in silence because we couldn't hear each other talk. Our blond server was Katie? Casey? Stacey? Tracy? we couldn't even hear her name. Industrial factory-level decibels were everywhere."

  • "After a long absence, we tried The Corner Office again and found it to be pleasant and very convenient to The Plex across the street. Nice to be able to park in the Curtis Hotel garage again, too. We'll certainly go back, but a table reservation, especially on Saturday night, is a must."

  • "This is NOT a romantic restaurant. The bar looks nice but it gets crowded and incredibly noisy. The dining area has cafeteria type tables and booths and while it is quirky, it is not quite a great date location. The food was excellent. Good location."

  • "We've eaten at the corner office a few times. They have what I would call an eclectic menu. Not your usual fair. But it's all good, the service is good, and the prices are reasonable. It it very convenient to the theater which is a plus for us."

  • "Great spot for a quick bite and drink before a shows. Tikka masala and fish tacos were delicious. Service was appreciative of the fact that we needed to make a showtime."

  • "The food is delicious and unusual. Our only disappointment was that we had a table for two along the main pathway through the restaurant. It's distracting to have guests and staff constantly traipsing by the table and it felt cramped. We felt that because we had a reservation, we should have been given one of the better situated tables that were available."

  • "Great Spot if you are going to the DCPA for a show. Right across the street and you can valet park your car as well."

  • "It is a very suitable place for dinner before the show. Food is average, service was good, and is very noisy. Had to wait for my reservation for 15 minutes - but still made the show in time. All in all, I will go there again because it is very close to the DCPA and there are no restaurants that are still serving after the show for a late dinner."
    Dined on 1/30/2014
  • "Right across the street from the entrance to the DCPA, this is a very convenient location for dinner. The options within the DCPA complex seem to be more expensive or just sandwiches. The place was crowded, not large and spacious, but it works. Service was impeccable. The calamari appetizer was excellent, deep fried just right with great flavor. My husband had the southern shrimp, mussels and grits and really loved it, even though he was tentative about the grits. I chose a new item, kung pao beef, but I would not recommend it. I thought it was greasy with a very strong sauce. The cheese cake dessert topped with salted caramel ice cream seemed a strange combination, but it was very tasty. The martini my husband had was excellent, too."

  • "Very interesting menu covering different food styles from Indian to Southern USA, each with a twist. The restaurant is busy, so reservations are recommended. It's also pretty noisy, due to an active bar area."

  • "This is a wonderful place to stop off before or after a show at the Performing Arts Complex. Vibrant, happening and busy. The service is average and a bit slow but overall it's a great place."

  • "We were so excited to go and have a nice brunch, and then they sat us next to a VERY loud table with tons of people so we couldn't even hear each other. We asked to be moved to one of the many empty tables up front and the rude hostess said "those are tables for people with reservations" I responded "WE had reservations" she said there was NO WAY she could possibly move us . . . . we just finally left after about 5 minutes because it was SO loud and they were so rude about it. Luckily there was a cute french bistro right across the way with a bloody mary bar that looked just as good as the one there, but I have been going to that brunch at Corner Office for years and now I'll never go again."
