The restaurant is small enough that the buffet brunch was all fresh and tasty. Highly recommended. Kids did well. Food has improved since we were there last - less country and more city.

Our evening there however could not have been any better. Our waitress was great and friendly. Our food was extremely good. The view looking at Sugarloaf Mountain was perfect. It was a very romantic evening with my wonderful wife as we enjoyed each others company and just talked about life. We had bought a voucher from Amazon for the Comus Inn and that is what prompted us to go. Well worth it. We were also able to find some of our favorite wines on the wine list. We were in a room with only 4 tables, which made a warm, intimate environment. A must o stop and eat before starting your day. The view is wonderful, you could see Sugarloaf mountain in front of you fom a short distance. Food were wonderful. We came when it opened at 11 am. We go to restaurants like Longhorn-good food for the value. We do NOT go to fast food restaurants. Comus Inn is not the kind of restaurant that we go to on a regular basis because of the prices. The crab cake BLT and chocolate torte were excellent! The Maitre d' warned us that our scenic view would be obscured by a tent pavilion that was up for a wedding that evening. The Comus Inn was perfect. The setting was very romantic and intimate. The menu had a nice mix of the "usual" (steak, potatoes, etc.) as well as some more unusual specials. The desert menu was fabulous, with something for everyone. We will definitely go back, it's a great place for those in norther Montgomery County.3/16/2013 12:00:00 AMA dazzling and charming restaurantThe first feature that stands out in this restaurant is its exceptional service and the warm and pleasant attitude from all the staff. The general manager personally visits each table to make sure you are receiving the best possible service. He is very professional. Our server, Bill was outstanding. Extremely informative and friendly. The fries were delicious for starters. The salmon was cooked to perfection and quite tasty. Definitely try their apple bread pudding.
