Very pleasant little restaurant. Specials of the day were far better than advertised and more exciting than the menu options.

Two of us visited for dinner. Service was a bit chaotic but the waiters were all pleasant and friendly. The food was uninspiring. Ambiance fairly good, although the tables are rather crowded together. We won't be going back when there are so many better places in Brighton.

The food was delicious and decently priced. Great live music and outdoor seating. The staff was not very attentive. I had to wait a long time to get service.

The food served to everyone in our party of four was very poor. The skate wing was overcooked, the "seafood platter" was a joke, the surf and turf consisted of four prawns and a poor quality piece of meat, and the duck was a very small portion. Overall it was very disappointing. We did not complain on the night as it was a special occasion and our guests requested us not to as it would spoil the evening. I would not eat at this restaurant again nor recommend it.

Visited La Petite Maison as it was convenient for the theatre and had a nice set menu. I wasn't disappointed - the food was good and the service was efficient without being intrusive. Will definitely visit again when I am next in Brighton.

Lovely little bistro in a vibrant area of Brighton close to the Lanes and the seafront. Food was beautifully presented and delicious. Only drawback was the steep climb to the loos on the third floor with a final step that could catch you out but this was very minor point for most able people.

Very friendly restaurant with a very welcoming atmosphere. Menu had a good range of options and they met specific dietary requirements very easily with no hassle. The food was delicious and presented beautifully. The restaurant is in a square and has a good vibe, sat upstairs but felt a bit withdrawn from this atmosphere.

I booked this restaurant for my husband's birthday meal without really knowing anything about the Brighton food scene. It was a Tuesday evening and all was very quiet so the ambiance wasn't quite there...not the restaurant's fault. We were given a table overlooking the square and the staff were very attentive even if there was something lost in translation. The food was absolutely gorgeous and I had a very happy birthday boy on my hands. A small glitch when we were charged for a dessert twice was easily rectified. Our waiter was a sweetie.........!

Our fourth visit here as it was my birthday, we travelled down from Newmarket. It didn't disappoint in any way. The Duck, wow....favorsum and one of those plates you didn't want to end. Gracie to our waiter, who was very attentive, (no name sorry, from Alicante and new to the restaurant)
