The Class ActHigh School Day OutI took my group of High School International Foods Students to enjoy a semi-formal dining experience. They were able to put their manners to the test and try some new tastes and experiences. They were so excited to order a dessert! The server treated them like adults and they behaved as such. Cooked OK and flavorful, but just not a good cut of meat. Will not have it again. I was not as impressed with the food as I had expected it to be considering the pricing. Our servers, Joe & Tony, were fantastic! They made our evening very enjoyable & were quick to attend to anything we needed or requested. We will would go back again. We tho't orders got mixed up. Same guest replaced w/a hamb. med. rare. Innards too rare. Other 2 of us were very pleased. Hot water ordered with lemon wasn't hot enough. Beautiful salads, but very small, pricey. Harvest salad was advertised to have something from a creamery. Was told it wld be cream cheese:little squares. Cldn't imagine such on salad, but ordered anyway. Turned out to be Havarti-like. There were 3 of us, 2 w/bdays w/me as host. Manager offered me a comp dessert, but didn't tell the waiter. It is a bit on the pricey side for this area, so it may not be a good choice if you're bringing the kids or a larger group. The ambiance and the noise levels were very quiet and relaxed. Our server was very pleasant and friendly and was great about making suggestions. Chef Brittney came to our table and presented us with a Chef appetizer and checked on us during our meal to ensure our food was to our liking. Very professional and the personal touches to everything made the visit one to remember.
