The City Grill - WindsorGreat place for a business lunchWe had a very important business lunch and decided to go to the City Grill. They set us up at a table upstairs .The place was busy yet the service was attentive yet concerned about our business discussion that was taking place. Our waiter was very professional .When the food arrived it was hot and very tasty.Everyone had a different dish and all really enjoyed their food .10/4/2013 12:00:00 AMCostWe found the overall cost for the brunch was much too high. The food was great, service was outstanding also, but to charge $32 a person for a brunch was outrageous. I would not charge more than $25 a person and $10 for children 10 and under. They simply do not eat enough for such a high charge. Again, the food was great but comparing to other places we have been it does measure up but the prices do not. Also, the way the Buffet was set up for the omelette station was way too small and way too slow! My son and I waited at least 15 minutes for our omelettes to be done while my husband had already begun eating and gone up twice before we even sat down. Should have more cooks on tat station.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMBrunchWent to The City Grill for Mothers Day Brunch and didn't know what to expect. There were danishes, salads, pasta salads, seafood, potatoes, prime rib, tenderloin, egg station, and belgian waffles to name a few. The food was to die for especially the lobster mac and cheese. The Chef was constantly in the dining area to make sure food was stocked and if not he got more out within minutes. The staff was fantastic accommodating anyone who needed any assistance. I would definitely return to The City Grill for a brunch again!5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMmoms daywent for mothers day brunch and my mom, a foodie, was very impressed.
