  • "Service and dinner were both fantastic compared to other dining experiences so far in Pennsylvania! The Circular has an extensive and fun wine list on an iPad, with great additional recommendations from the staff as we chose our dinner selections. We started with foie gras deviled eggs - delicious and decadent! Skipping soup/ salad, the hubby ordered the lamb for entrée while I chose short ribs. Both entrées were delicious. The short ribs meat fell apart - definitely no knife required! We finished with a Hershey chocolate soufflé (great for sharing) and chocolate covered strawberries for the anniversary (thank you, Circular!) and espresso. We were impressed with the excellent service, presentation and delicious food."

  • "Our evening at the Circular at that Hotel Hershey was superb. Our table had a wonderful view of the grounds and was well spaced from other tables. Our server was phenomenal - she was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and drinks. The iPad with the wine list was something I've never seen before and was such a great idea. You could browse the different wines by type and price point, or by pairings by touching what you were having. Brilliant! The food was just as fantastic as I expected. The table had steak, shrimp and scallops, red snapper, loaded baked potatoes and baked beans. Everything was prepared to perfection. Chocolate fondue for desert with various dippers. Overall, the meal and service were impeccable."

  • "The service was excellent. The food was great. The salmon was perfectly done, so moist. My Mother-in-Law had the chocolate pie for dessert and she said it was the best chocolate pie she has ever tasted. She couldn't finish the whole piece of pie, so I finished it for her. It was the best chocolate pie I had ever tasted as well. It was truly a memorable dining experience. Nice touch with the sea salt caramel after the meal. Top notch!!!"

  • "My friend and I spent a "girl's night" at the Hotel Hershey and the Circular was a perfect way to relax and enjoy great food after our time in the spa. It was restaurant week and we were able to get a salad, entrée and dessert for only $30. The portions were not huge but they were perfect for us (my husband is a big eater and would have needed more). I am not sure if they are bigger if you order the regular menu items, but I am thinking they are. We had beet and arugula salad which was very tasty, followed by pecan encrusted tile fish...yum. The dessert was to die for. A sour cherry white chocolate cheese cake. And the views (even on a rainy evening) were spectacular."

  • "We had a wonderful meal from start to finish..... from the Oysters Rockefeller appetizer; shared Ceasar salad; Grilled Salmon entree and a Grouper entree; right to the Sorbet dessert... a very nice touch was the Happy Birthday platter, written in Chocolate sauce for my husband's birthday ! The service was top-notch..... Justin (or Jason??? -- sorry our memory isn't what it used to be.... LOL) was incredible !! Had a very special dining experience for my husband's birthday and would definitely make reservations for some time in the near future. Just a short 3 hr drive from our home... so it's great for a quick 2 night getaway.... Hotel Hershey NEVER disappoints!"

  • "We went to sample what Hershey Hotel had to offer for this week. To our horror found the menu consisted of veal cheek (actually old cow chewing years of cud!), Pork belly, tile fish ( tasteless), and chicken. The hotel management and the chef should be ashamed of serving such garbage as their sample for restaurant week. I recommend What If restaurant in Hershey as an example for Restaurant Week."

  • "walking into the hotel hershey/circular dining room always puts a smile on my face. our dinner was good, the service was excellent and the ambience was what brought us there in the first place. at the end of the meal, the waitress brought out a lovely birthday inscribed dessert plate accompanied by scrumptious caramels which were so cutely boxed. overall,a wonderful outing. thank you hershey!!"

  • "My boyfriend and I enjoyed dinner in the renovated Circular. The service was exceptional, with attention to every detail. They honored my request to sit near the window, and made every effort to please us from the wine choice to the dessert. I'm not sure the ipad option for choosing wine pairings, etc. is necessary. With so much technology everywhere, I would suggest returning to simply enjoying a human interaction. Additionally, the restaurant week options were good, and we ordered from both menus, but the starters and desserts were the shining stars. The entrees were disappointing. It almost didn't matter, as everything else was excellent, but over-cooking a filet seems sub-standard for this level of fare. Overall, still fantastic."

The Filet was like butter and melted in the mouth, and the Chester County mushrooms went well with the steak. The truffle mac and cheese was suprisingly amazing.   • "The Circular has kept the great food and ambiance but cut the prices a little bit and made the restaurant feel less stuffy. The dress code has been relaxed, welcoming younger folks and those on vacation who didn't bring a tie and jacket. Most of the food we had (on the Restaurant Week menu) was excellent, although my fish dish was rather bland. On the whole though the food was tasty, the waiter was very responsive, and the salted caramel they give you as a parting gift was the most delicious candy I've ever had."

  • "This is my absolute favorite dining experience. Milton Hershey's genius never fails to amaze. The revamped dining room has maintained its original charm and elegance. The food choices are often farm to table and served with panache. The original cocktail menu and focus on keeping chocolate choices on all courses never fails to impress. Any diner knows they are in for a feast for the senses upon entering the Circular."

  • "The set up is easy to follow and not crowded. My friends loved the salad. The main dishes were varied but only the polenta was memorable for a good reason. The creme brulee was honestly the best part of the meal. The price, at $15 for lunch on a Saturday was a nice surprise. Our drinks were included. My friend was disappointed that there was not a dessert option that combined chocolate and peanut butter since it is Hershey PA. The atmosphere and the service (and my friends!) were the best part of the meal. I've had much better meals food wise in the Hotel's garden cafe, and it's beautiful as well."

  • "I have always loved Hershey, PA and everything about the area. Milton Snavely Hershey was years ahead of his time! Building the Hotel Hershey, old museum, hockey rink-both of them (as he did not build the giant center), bakery under the old museum, school on the hill (Hershey Industrial School) for white male orphans, Hershey Park and Zoo, ballroom-gone, dairy bar-gone, swimmig pool-gone, Hershey Stadium, Hershey Theater, Hershey Inn-gone, Hershey Drug Store, Hershey Junior College-gone. Actually now Harrisburg Area Community College. (I taught at the Lebanon Campus for fourteen years) My wife and I also enjoy breakfast at Hershey Hotel. MSH was a visionary! Hershey a great place to visit. Love it!"

  • "The Circular Dining Room and the Hotel are iconic. The menu selections for dinner were varied and elegant, and the service was excellent Chicken and salmon entrees were delicious. There were some downsides. If you have trouble walking long distances or doing stairs, gettting to and from the dining room from the hotel entrance is a nightmare. Ditto for going to a restroom. If your restroom is one with an interior foyer you may have trouble handling the inner door. The remodeled dining room maintains its classy feel because of the beautiful stained glass windows. The rest of the room is still lovely with a more modern feel. The tableware is a modern style too."

  • "My experience in the Circular dinning room was a very nice one. The food was prepared wonderfully and the presentation was great. I was with two other friends and they also enjoyed their meal as well. The only area that I was disappointed was the length of time I was in the restaurant. I was there from start to finish well over two hours. Other than the timing was a bit long my overall experience was great. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to friends and family."

  • "My sister, nephew (6 years old), husband and I enjoyed our 6th visit to Hotel Hershey in as many years and as usual, it was a pleasure. We enjoyed the new and modern set up of the dining room and of course, the food was wonderful. However, I did give the food 4 out of 5 stars for one reason and one reason only. We had been telling my nephew all weekend that there would be a chocolate fountain at brunch for him to dip strawberries, marshmallows, and more into and sadly, that appears to have left the menu."

The service was outstanding; they follow the model of having employees dedicated to certain tasks (clearing, water, food delivery) that makes you feel well attended. The wine app on their table side iPad was fun to use and demonstrated a deep wine cellar. I had more than enough wines by the glass to choose from. The view as the sun was setting was stunning and the whole circular shaped room is fun. The Hotel Hershey was an excellent setting."

The waitress accommodated a request for a special birthday surprise. My favorite dessert was the little chocolate tart. The four of us enjoyed ourselves thoroughly."
