Went to brunch at Churchill after seeing the sign for bottomless mimosas! The food was really good, the server was great and the bottomless mimosas have nothing to do with this review! The restaurant is a bit loud; I've been during the day and at night and both times felt like I was screaming. Other than that, I would definitely return.

The Churchill is a larger, more accessible version of its sister spot, The Hudson. We came for happy hour and were a bit sad the selection isn't as good.
There are about 5 items on the menu - no pizza that people rave about. No problem, but to have a mac n cheese that was bland was a 'fail'. Maybe get bacon laced version instead of broccolini. Since there wasn't any that I was craving I ordered my first chopped salad this decade! At $6 was a good deal and as expected. On the other hand the Pork sliders and fries $ 6 were the best thing of this visit.
The drinks menu is also limited for happy hour - every beer that was $6 gets a $2 discount and there was a wine available. You may decide to get a cocktail after saving a few bucks on t

Since I'm long time pals with one of the owners & The Churchill is in my hood I want to love it. It's loud & more than a lil poseur-y but that can be expected of any new young LA hotspot. Plus with the large tables it's great for bringing a big crew of your own pals and blocking out all else. The food is great though this trip after a long wait my lunch (burger and fries) arrived room temp. Even when they brought out new it could best be described as warm. Will I return? Yep. The happy hour during the week is one of the cities best. M*

The hostesses/hosts and servers that work here are typical LA residents - - people who likely moved here from [insert random flyover state] to "model" or "act," but are "SERVING" instead. As a result, they're probably underpaid and in a bad mood and act like them seating you/serving you is some huge favor. I don't blame them - - I'd be grumpy too if that were my life. For those of us who aren't hellbent on chasing pipe dreams, the Churchill is a good place for happy hour if you live/work nearby. Food's OK, good vibe, cool place.

I have eaten at the Churchill several times. The food and drinks are great. I love the hanger steak and mussels. The Revolver is a delicious spicy cocktail. Great bar scene as well. Nice crowd.

Awful Service. Awful 1st encounter. With a reservation, they tried to seat us at some common table by the front door. Finally seated upstairs. Bar was fun. Good cocktail-Food not great, service, not good, and well, the cocktails were great.
