We were greeted warmly and seated promptly for a 7:30 reservation on a Saturday night. Dining room was elegant and cozy, and the acoustics and table arrangement were such that you could converse easily without feeling like your neighbors were eavesdropping. Service was prompt and efficient, not at all harried or rushed. Wahoo special was on point. I was celebrating my 5 year anniversary with my gorgeous girl (Lore) and we just moved from the San Francisco area, which is a epicurean dream, so it’s been challenging to find exquisite dinning in Virginia Beach. We both enjoyed the food and the absolute freshness. Each bite was simply decadent. The new GM; Harry Green topped off the night with a wonderful dessert on the house and a grand tour of the Bed and Breakfast. Absolutely stunning and we thank Harry and his staff for a wonderful evening.

Currently going through a change of ownership along with a new Chef and menu and I'm confident it will get better and better as they get settled. Asked the waitress to suggest an entree and complimenting wine...she graciously articulated a combination that was devine. From the time we entered the restaurant, till the moment we left, we felt like we were the only customers there...they truely cherished our business. Restaurant is located in the cellar of an exquisite B&B amongst million dollar homes...clearly off the beaten path! Tables are tucked into all the quaint spaces throughout the resturant with beautiful fireplaces to complete the rich ambiance. Guys, if your looking to impress, this is the place...quiet, romantic, and elegant all rolled into one!2/9/2013 12:00:00 AMWhat a find!Having just moved here from Charleston SC, we were longing for a restaurant that met the high level of standards as many in the Charleston area. We found one in The Cellars. Outstanding food...great service...very quiet, intimate atmosphere. AND... we met others who too shared our love for the great restaurants of Charleston SC.
