  • "My wife and I went there on a Saturday night (April 12, 2014) and we were disappointed especially considering the price. We expected high quality but it was average. The service was excellent."

  • "You'll fall in love at Castle Falls, or fall all over again. You are greeted by beautiful walkways, landscaping and secluded outdoor nooks leading you to an authentic-feeling castle home. The food is a fabulous feast for the palate and soul. From fresh warm breads, Bavarian pretzel and fruity drinks to the main courses from around the globe, you'll leave feeling satisfied and refreshed. Definitely a place to rekindle a flame or start a new spark with a special someone."

  • "My girlfriend and I really enjoyed our dinner. The food was great. It was a great atmosphere. Very intimate and made for a great date. I had the filet stroganoff and my girlfriend had a chicken dish which was the special of the night. She had a house salad that was unbelievable. I'm not a salad person at all but it was amazing. It had 3 different salads on one plate. Very good. We really enjoyed our dinner and i would encourage anyone else looking for a nice place to have dinner for two, this is a good place. You have to watch for it when driving north up MacAurthur from I-40. I never knew this place was there. Dont let the area keep you away. It's definitely worth it."

  • "My husband and I both had the steak. It was so tender it was like melting in your mouth. The lobster bisque was a smooth as silk. The Bavarian pretzels were the best I've ever had.. They have an excellent wine list and my husband I chose to have a bottle of their house Shiraz which was excellent. But they also have many wonderful imported beers. The atmosphere was romantic and relaxing and they played very nice background music not to loud.. Exemplary service! Our waitress was attentive but not a helicopter. I would recommend this restaurant to any of my friends and family and look forward to my next visit!"

  • "When you celebrate friendship it is an added treat to do so in a fun, unique, and DELICIOUS place --which is Castle Falls. You felt like family (in the right kind of way:)). The evening was more like an adventure in dining (and friendship) then "going out to eat"."

  • "I took my fiancé here for a nice romantic birthday dinner and it lived up to all our expectations. The service was amazing and the food was delicious! I had have driven past this location a hundred times and never even knew it was here. Small low lit dining around with perfect ambience. We will definitely be making a ritual of return dining and also partaking in the special dining events once a month."

  • "The entrée was delicious, though the starting bread was not so impressive. They had several specials of the day that all sounded excellent, I'd assume they're different all the time. There weren't many people and the ones there were quiet, so it was a nice noise level, with soft music playing, though it crackled and stopped occasionally. The decor was nice and let you feel like you were dining in one's home."

  • "Absolutely wonderful and amazing restaurant. The owner, Nina, called after I made the reservation online, and I explained that I wanted to surprise my fiance for her birthday, and give her a dining experience like she never had before, in the message box during the online reservation I asked if they could help me, and after the dinner bring out a desert with a lit candle on top. Not only did they brought her a real German Cheesecake (A+), but they wrote "Happy Birthday" with chocolate, put cherries in the corner of the plate and dusted the entire thing with sugar, making it look as it was covered in light snow. Needless to say my fiance was in tears. Food was absolutely amazing. Thank You so very. much Nina. We will be back very soon."

  • "Dinner was calm and lovely. Above average marks all around. So enjoyable for my wife's birthday."

  • "This restaurant is indeed a romantic restaurant with outstanding service. However, it suffers from inconsistent food quality. My steak component from the stroganoff was exceptionally tough and difficult to eat. Either the steak was marinated properly or was a poor steak. My company's chicken in her stroganoff was equally tough and dry."

  • "We had a very pleasant dinning experance. My wife had the lobster tail. It would have been nice if it would have been split open instead of having to break the shell up to get to the meat. Waitress was very relaxed, friendly, and very helpful. I had the Kings steak. It was very tender and was very flavorful. Thank you for a wonderful evening as we celebrated my wife's birthday"

  • "The food was absolutely amazing. The service was fabulous. We were there for a special event with 2 other couples. Although The Cellar is not set up for a group of 6 they accommodated us upstairs. We will be back!"

  • "First time at The Cellar and I was very much satisfied with all aspects. The food was great, was nice to find a place that has German food. The service was outstanding, the owner came and chatted with us for 10 min and told us about upcoming events and about life in Germany. Loved the ambiance of the place also. Will definitely be going again."

  • "Nice evening for a a duo-special birthday celebration. Our server was very accomodating and the food was delicious. After having driven past this "castle" for years, it was a lovely surprise to finally partake of the niceties within it's turret!"

  • "Excellent food as always. I thought it was a great idea to add the non-menu side items and soups. I really think the red cabbage should be a permanent side item. I also enjoyed the tomato basil soup, and others in my group enjoyed the French onion soup. The appetizer was also great. The entree was best of all. Overall, an excellent experience."

  • "To start off, I made the reservation online and asked to be seated at the library if possible. They did not tell me I was not able to order a la carte from the menu in the second floor of the Castle. So I ended up moving to the first floor, where the ambience was of course, not so romantic, but fair. The food is quite pricey for what it is. Flavor was not good to be honest. The only thing tasting fairly were some items from the appetizer platter we ordered. We both ordered chicken for our entrees. NOTHING SPECIAL, I couldnt even finish mine because the taste was just not right. The place is quite nice though and their wine selection is pretty good."

  • "We were seated on the first level near the kitchen area, we constantly heard banging through our meal. We cannot tell if it was from a refrigerator door, or a oven door. Or they had a drum set going in the kitchen. My steak was very good along with broccoli and rice casserole, my husband grilled chicken and German noodles were cold. He had leftovers as did I, he said it all taste better the next day."

  • "We had reservations and it took about 5-10 mins before someone talked to us, it seemed they were short staffed. It was pretty cold where we were sitting. Food was good but that was about it."

  • "We celebrated our 37th wedding anniversary at Castle Falls. It was a very special, enjoyable evening. The food was delicious, the service excellent. They made sure we had a corner table that was quiet and private. We loved the grounds also. A nice fire burning in a chiminea. Will definitely return."

  • "We have eaten at a large number of nice restaurants in the OKC area, but had never been to the Castle...so, I made a reservation and took my wife there for her birthday. I ordered the beer cheese soup and my wife ordered the pretzel appetizer. Both were excellent! As for entres, my wife ordered the German noodle dish and I ordered the chicken with bratwurst. I must say, my dish was as good as it could be and the broccoli casserole side I got with it was excellent as well. My wife had the chocolate cake and I had the bread pudding for dessert. They were also both very good! Overall, we both felt this was a place to come back and to recommend to our friends. The exterior and interior of the restaurant is also very unique and worth seeing."

  • "Real European feel. When we got it off the car, It felt like we Like we were on a different country. Walking up to the house(castle) started the experience. Inside, you are seated in different rooms so the noise and lighting are low. Food was excellent! Just an overall great experience."

  • "We thoroughly enjoyed our time and dinner at Castle Falls. Our waitress, Sandra, was outstanding. Very efficient and aware. Please thank her for us. It was a lovely evening. We have very nice memories from Castle Falls, both in the past and this particular evening. Thank you."

  • "Our dinner at Castle Falls was great! The filet was cook as we requested and the bread pudding was amazing. We had 3 different servers taking care of us, each friendly and quick to respond. We would recommend this going here for a quiet night out with your spouse or a low key business dinner. Loved the atmosphere."

  • "Like dining with family. Nicely priced, great service. Good food. Would live to see a few more German beer choices. Must try the bread pudding. Ordered a full pan for our Christmas weekend."

  • "My husband and I went to the Cellar for our wedding anniversary and we both appreciated it - we had a private room, our food was good, the drinks were good and the setting was unusual. Our waitress was attentive and the food arrived promptly. My cut of meat for my filet was not quite the quality I would've expected for the price, but overall it was still very tasty. My husband's salmon was reportedly just a little overdone but he was very appreciative of the seasoning. I would definitely consider the Cellar for my next special occasion."

  • "Every time my husband and I dine at Castle Falls the food is delicious and the staff delightful. Our last dining experience at Castle Falls consisted of appetizers, salad, soup, entree and dessert. It was a lot of food and every bite was delicious and there was enough to take home for another meal. At this particular time they were serving one of their staff's personal recipe for German cabbage. I didn't like cabbage until I ate it at Castle Falls and now I look forward to it being a permanent side dish on the menu. The cabbage is just one example of how the side dishes are as delicious as the main entrees and desserts. No matter what is ordered you can't go wrong, it's all delicious."

  • "Quiet, casual dining with the option for elegance. Service was perfect and the food was very good. My wife had the filet and it was outstanding, The beef stroganoff was recommended so that is what I had. The beef was diced filet and was great, but the gravy tasted like it had too much flour in it. The wine selection was respectable."

  • "I made reservations here for my husband for his birthday. I reserved the primrose level so it would be more private. The waitress was amazing and did not rush us. The food was wonderful. Would for sure recommend coming here and we will be back."

  • "I spent four years in Germany during my military career and visited many castles and ate at numerous restaurants. While the outside of the establishment did not necessarily remind me of a castle, once we walked in (to the cellar), it took me right back to Germany. The staff was friendly, and accommodated my special request to have private seating as we were celebrating our tenth wedding anniversary. Our meal consisted of appetizer (pretzels), salad, chicken/tenderloin stroganoff, and a slice of cheesecake. For the food mentioned and a few glasses of wine, it ended up being just around $100, not including gratuity. I thought it was well worth the money and intend to go back for our next special occasion. Perfect for that romantic evening."

  • "My husband & I celebrated our 28th anniversary there. I ran across it accidentally online & thought we would give it a try. Food was excellent! I had the steak stroganoff; my husband had the pork roast. Dessert was the BEST bread pudding I ever had! Their 2 venues are a bit confusing -- with 2 separate menus - The Cellar & Primrose. We were given the wrong menus and it was explained after we inquired. When booking thru Open Table I had requested the Primrose room indicating the special occasion, but no one seemed to have read it because they were unaware. It worked out though. Our waitress was very nice - not the fine edge service you might expect. The atmosphere, story of the house, & ambiance was very nice! All staff were pleasant."
