The CatchWonderful experienceWaitress was extremely friendly and helpful. The restaurant had different dining experiences outside, bar scene , and a quiet dining experience. We enjoyed our time at the restaurant and was able to go straight to the angels game after5/13/2013 12:00:00 AMMother's DayThe food and service were excellent. The charge for valet I found unreasonable. You are forced to use valet because parking isn't accessible to the restaurant. I feel that it should be a service provided and tip only.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMMother's Day BrunchI stumbled upon brunch at The Catch and I was not disappointed. It was such a beautiful day to celebrate the most important woman in my life, my Mom. The service was impeccable and the food was top quality. Good job!5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMWe really enjoyed ourselves. We really enjoyed ourselves. Service was excellent. Food and beverage, really tood.
One note, when we were checking in with the hostess, I asked if they had a happy hour (it was 6pm). She said "not really".
Then, when we were seated, we saw that there was a great happy hour menu. Would've appreciated an honest, correct answer.5/8/2013 12:00:00 AMRare Anaheim FindI travel to Anaheim frequently on business and think of The Catch as my home away from home. Delicious steak and seafood, wonderful wait staff and a great sports bar (although I generally dine in their adjacent dining room). Being a tourist destination, Anaheim has a good number of national restaurant franchises; it's rare to find a locally-run establishment that offers a truly upscale, yet comfortable dining experience.5/7/2013 12:00:00 AMThe food was amazing!!! StaffThe food was amazing!!! Staff was superb!!! We were really impressed. We will be back...4/27/2013 12:00:00 AMAlthough the food was greatAlthough the food was great the service was a little slow. It took forever just to get the waiter to take our order. The support staff was good. Not sure about outside seating. Although it seems comfortable maybe to close to a busy street.4/24/2013 12:00:00 AM"The Hat Trick" is a great"The Hat Trick" is a great starter.
"Drunken Mahi-Mahi" is also nice.4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMReservation Mix-Up, but Great LunchAt first, it appears my Opentable reservation wasn't recorded as 'attended'. But, OpenTable soon fixed that issue. The food here is always excellent - for both lunch and dinner. The one thing about lunch is that the portions are huge. For most people, that would mean eat half of it and take the other half home. It would be nice if there was a 'lighter fare option'.4/11/2013 12:00:00 AMYou must "Catch" this restaurantEverything was outstanding. Our waiter, Michael, was very attentive and responsive. The food presentation was a work of art. The quality of our meal was exceptional. The best seafood we have ever had!4/5/2013 12:00:00 AMWorth the priceFantastic lunch menu. My co-worker had The Catch Cobb - she said it was the best salmon she has ever had. I had the tuna burger - which I have to say was the biggest and best tuna sandwich I have ever had. I plan on having dinner here the next time I am in town.4/4/2013 12:00:00 AMWhat a Catch!Every year for Hubby's birthday we search for a lobster tail dinner to compete with one he had in NYC 15 years ago. We've tried numerous OC restaurants and not until last night did we find it. The 16 oz Maine tail at The Catch was sweet and tender. I had their signature Sea Bass and it too was delicious. For his birthday they had a reserved table with his name on it and gave him a creme brûlée dessert. I ordered the chocolate soufflé which is my birthday dish. We will definitely be back so long as there are not events on at the neighboring venues. In fact we're planning on taking the kids to the lounge for an OMG - a huge burger on a 14 inch bun to be shared. And I can't wait to try another one of their delicious cocktail.4/2/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat food. A couple of dessertsGreat food. A couple of desserts take 30 mins to prepare, so order early!4/1/2013 12:00:00 AMThe Catch never disappoints.I've eaten at The Catch on numerous occasions and enjoyed their fresh seafood entrees as well as their interesting twist on everyday staples. Their steaks are aged well and seasoned to perfection. Even their burgers are incredible. Excellent presentation, creative menu, outstanding service, INCREDIBLE desserts baked while you enjoy your meal. This time we joined them for Easter brunch. I was amazed at how much the staff still catered to our individual needs despite the amazing buffet. Numerous items were still available made to order, along with the entire children's menu. Great choice for a business meeting or family dinner. Also has a nice bar, suitable or drinks after work or an Angel's game.3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMRecommended before an event onlyOur group of 4 had dinner at The Catch before a show at The Grove. Fantastic location before a show or an Angels game; you can easily walk from the event parking to the restaurant, and then to your event. Service was great, food was OK. Our tab for 4 was $300, which I thought was pricey for what we got - one round of 4 cocktails, one lower-priced bottle of wine, one appetizer shared among 4 people, and entrees for each of us. No salads, no desserts, no extras. I think if this restaurant were in a different location, prices would have to be lowered quite a bit or they wouldn't make it. Other seafood restaurants we regularly go to are much better, but when dining before a show, location trumps all.3/30/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat food. We were goingGreat food. We were going to the Grove next door and we very glad to find The Catch so close.3/30/2013 12:00:00 AMJust a great place to go onJust a great place to go on game day, love the game day menu, especially the tacos3/30/2013 12:00:00 AMWe enjoyed an excellent dinnerWe enjoyed an excellent dinner with good service. The wife ordered a Kobe filet and it was superb! The wine is a bit pricey but for a special occasion its worth going all out with a nice bottle to pair with the delicous food!3/16/2013 12:00:00 AM
